thatgamecompany also made Journey, which is hands down the most beautiful game I've ever played. The multiplayer is similar in Journey and I'm so glad they explored it further in Sky! Journey brought me so many wonderful and emotional multiplayer interactions. I've never downloaded a game so fast! Thanks for the video Payton!

thank you payton for summing up my favorite game this beautifully... as a veteran player of 5 years, let me add a few things; -other than events, new areas and storylines are added through seasons very frequently, expanding the game nearly -most of the seasons have their own storylines and npcs that tell stories without a single word, a lot of the season finales are mesmerizing. -there are sooo many limited collectibles and some of them even make the world of sky feel insanely large when you have a friend that can invite you to places you might have missed. -so far there have been three collaboration seasons; the little prince being my ultimate favorite collaboration, if you know the novel, it is certain that you will love. -the community is indeed incredibly friendly and i totally adore the wordless communication that you can maintain while also being able to express yourself easily. -i have cried and gotten emotional and was left in awe too many times even after so many years and new storylines, the latest season making me this emotional being the season of the nine colored deer's storyline. -lately the decoration aspect of the game has been advancing very rapidly so if you're into that, go for it... -the easter eggs that you can find are insanely genius and sometimes even comedic,, there will always be something you notice for the first time even in your 10th playthrough on the map. the subtle storyline of the overall game and the amount of lore theories that the community keeps coming up with also makes me feel like a historian or archeologist who is trying to figure out very old ancient civilisations,,, which is basically it... -in my personal estimation you would need around 50-60 hours of gameplay to complete the entire game so far but because of constant expansion and it being an mmo,, u can't fully complete it however can still live through all of the beauty it offers. -however i will say that after some point you might feel a bit tired of repetition and grinding and daily quests,,, but ive been playing for five years so do take that with a grain of salt... i am not even getting paid by tgc to say any of this but this has been my favorite game for the past 5 years, connected me to so many new people, made me able to stay close to some of my long distance friends, and even meet some people irl through sky. i cannot recommend this game enough... it's literally free... play it and give it a chance... i would do anything to erase my memory and play this game from the start too like...

I played Sky for the first time during the Season of Aurora, it was so special and unique but after that ended I kinda lost interest a little. Now I really feel like playing it again! And I gotta say the story and the way it evolves and concludes gave me REALLY strong Journey-Déjà-vu feelings. As a former Journey-player, I guess I was already used to Thatgamecompany's way of storytelling XD
