well, in fact there is no defined Spanish architecture, each Spanish region has its own architectural styles, this house is typical of the Andalusia region in southern Spain, a type of house adapted to sunny and hot climates the north of Spain has a totally different architecture more similar to England and France

Spanish colonial architecture style as we see in Mexico, Guatemala e some other hot/tropical countries colonized by spaniards. This style is inspired in andalusian/Southern Spain architecture. It's a style adapted for hot places.

@ilargitxo2 LA coruna. Galicia. Loved it. Teach English. ( I'm kiwi) also 6 months Madrid. Learnt Span. Most houses concrete breeze block but still beautiful. Courtyards tiny works of art.

The proper name is "Spanish Colonial Revival". It is an America interpretation that was popular in the 1920's and 1930's. I suspect these pictures were taken in and around San Diego, Ca.
