While the mod runs without MalisisCore installed, adding it allows you to use the personal dialer device (pdd), the GDO, and an ingame configurator for creative only. It also allows for configuration changes to stick, such as "chevrons lock when dialed" making the gates work like in SG-1 outside of the SGC, so when you hit the middle button of the DHD the stargate immediately opens. The configurator also allows for gates to reject incoming wormholes from specific players or addresses.

It occurs to me that a Stargate server would be tight as hell - Factor in a ton of the energy producing mods, toss in Galacticraft and make the ship components harder to craft, and configure the Earth/Overworld gates to have no DHD's/Naquadah, and then throw in some fun mob/boss spawns and alternative village spawns for the other planets? Could be a genuinely fun little co-op server.

3:54 gonna get super nerd here. Technically the gate shouldn't have to wait for the ring to rotate and chevron to lock since it has a dhd. Pressing the symbols and hitting thr center button should instantly dial it. The one on earth spun like that because they had no dhd and the computer had to manually rotate the ring.

in the stargate, there is a block specifically made for the industrial craft 2 mod, but there is another, wich uses rf energy, wich is used in industrial craft 2. do you have any idea what to use ?

If I remember correctly Electromagnetic Signals can travel both ways. Would be cool if someone does a mod so that computer craft signals can be sent through the gate.

on the SGCraft page it tell you how to get the gate to work unless this is not SGCraft anymore and its now run by someone else who hasn't released the update for 1.16.3 forge

0:28 They got the Atlantis gate "spinning" completely wrong. In the show, the symbols stay stationary. And the symbols "spin" is animated the same way as an animated neon sign. Also, the gate in Atlantis in and of itself is the only pegasus gate with that style of chevron.
