Everything you need to know about the “F10 Virtual Cockpit” Digital LCD Gauge Cluster/ Speedometer.
In this video, I show how the Virtual Cockpit/ LCD Digital Gauge Cluster comes shipped, a small portion of installation and most of the features and options that you are given with this product. I believe that this gauge cluster is a MASSIVE improvement over the stock analog gauges if you’re trying to give your F10 a more modern look and feel. The screen is very responsive, I expected to see some noticeable delay or bugs with a product ordered straight from China but I am very impressed! Installation was incredibly easy (the hardest part is getting the damn OEM cluster out after you free up the clips.

Hi just fitted this to my e90 everything works fine apart from when I open the door it shows me the opposite door example open driver door the display shows passenger door. I’ve been through the settings 100 times and I can’t forget this out. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks man, unfortunately my car doesn’t have either of those options so I can’t honestly answer, I’d have to assume not because my lane change warning vibrations went away. I just don’t have any other assists.

Thanks Jake. One additional question please. Did you have issues with Cruise Control not working when the cluster was installed. In mine, I can switch on the Cruise control but when setting the speed, get message, 'Cruise Control cannot be activated'. Did you come across the same issue ?

I have had my cruise control stop a few times (maybe 3 times in the last year) and received the same error but I am usually able to use cruise control with no issues.

I do not have HUD but I did see when I was purchasing that you can select “HUD” or “No HUD” so I believe it is compatible.

My car doesn't have HUD so I'm not sure! I know the Nav doesn't show on the gauge cluster for my car either way.

Honestly I messed with it for a couple minutes but I wasn’t able to get the TPMS figured out on the cluster. Please let me know if you do manage to figure it out!

Once installed does the fuel tank value etc all update automatically..and also can you answer calls or even change songs using steering wheel controls?.

My value was accurate upon install, I’ll be honest I’ve never used the steering wheel to control phone calls but it still works with media so I would assume so.

What is check control? All of my alerts (oil low, service due etc) shows up on the cluster.

I can’t get mine to show the tire pressure and tire temp the way it does in the idrive system. Do you know how? It’s just showing dashes for each tire on the dash

You may have to update or change a setting. I would message the seller you purchased it from. They did respond and help me change from KM/H to MPH

Honestly still love it, if I ever get tired of it I am able to switch the color or theme. I could go for a different font because the one on it isn’t the best but I really don’t have many complaints. I just with the Tire Pressure would display like it’s supposed to but it doesn’t affect the TPMS system. I love it, worth the money if you can’t swing a 6WB

@@alexlorente1641 none at all. Just don’t mess with the fuel gauge settings or you can mess it up. This one came reading accurately and I screwed up in the settings and then had to go back and fix what I had changed.

@@JakeNoland when I started to use it fuel gauge was crazy (up and down). Then I changed what my seller said: f20 52l “main tank 38 sub 12” (curious thing it’s not 52 total, it’s 50). Then stills moving but in a short range (between 40km autonomy). I don’t know if filling whole deposit will fix. But anyway: what said you have to made to put on place? Rest of things work properly… don’t like that maximum speed it’s on 330 (not 260 my real) but I can hold it. Thanks a lot Jake!

I have this cluster but now i don’t receive any fault codes anymore. My brakes needed to be replaced and i did not get notification. My motor oil needed to be changed and did not get notification. When i switch back to original cluster then i receive all my fault codes. The communication between the cluster and the idrive system is not good. Anyone who has the same problem?

They send it out with 0 miles on it and it takes the current mileage from your DME. Only thing I really had to do before this video was switch from Km/h to mph

Is menu where it shows curent consumption, oil and water temperature and voltage. UNFORTUNATELY for me I play with settings and turn on hybrid and no I don't have any more voltage even I turn off hybrid ootion

Really not sure man, I don’t think too hard about it. Gauge displays accurately and the gas light comes on with 50 miles remaining. I’ve ran it pretty low and have had no issues
