Honestly, the games pace has been really good. If I am not mistaken the next set is around 1 month away which is nearly perfect timing.

Kudos to FFG for not being greedy and pushing out sets every 12 weeks like SOME game companies (I’m looking at YOU, Wizards of the Coin). Hopefully they continue that pattern and allow the meta to develop naturally. This also ties in with careful and extensive pre-release play testing which means that there is a far less chance of having to push out emergency card bans…again, something Wizards is infamous for. So far, so good. We’ll see if it holds pattern. I also like that FFG isn’t obsessed with magnifying power creep and just cranking out the most broken, expensive high-demand cards (like, again, Wizards) and seems to be more interested in introducing innovative mechanics and play. Good call if they want the game to appeal broadly and not just to whales and ruthless spikes…which seem to be Magic’s constituent customers these days.

You sure about this? Right now SWU chase cards are actually much more expensive than non-prime chase cards from the newest MTG sets. FFG is trying to cash in by releasing a new expansion when some areas had not as single booster of the base set available for at least a month now. It's a prime way to kill the game.

I think we are approaching stagnation. there is a lot less exploration now. There is still a few that are doing so, but for the most part there isn't much else going on.

Well imo it's good timing since set 2 comes out in like arround a month
