Being a Dutchman I have visited Lamers a few times Once one of the people there asked me what I rode. Probably to check if I was game for a sales chat. Maybe it was Mr. Lamers himself but as always I was to shy to talk much. The fact that I rode A Ducati was respectfully accepted anyway. Close enough. My favorite models are the Le Mans 3, the Monza and the V65 sport ( the latter in spite of it’s troublesome four valve heads).Still waiting for a real reincarnation of that spirit.

Red frame (telaio rosso in Italian): only the 1st series batch of 150 units built from 1971 until early 1972. After that, frames were made of thicker tubes and painted black or (for the US market) silver grey.
