A fun fact not mentioned in the video (unless it's changed since yesterday). While the minigun only fires where the gun is aiming, the rockets fire towards your aim, regardless of where the mech is physically pointing. This means that you can turn left and shoot a rocket before the mech actually turns enough to logically be able to. This also means that if you fire too fast after turning right, before the mech turns enough, you will fire the missile into the cockpit you're sitting in, instantly blowing yourself up in the process.

They also have a tendency to explode randomly. My friend was getting in one, there were no enemies around at all, and it blew up before he even had control of the mech. I've blown up just standing still. I've blown up because my own rocket decided to go through my torso to get to where I was trying to aim. So, note on this, the rocket does NOT fire out the tube in the direction the torso is facing. It spawns at the rocket pod and goes straight to where you are aiming. If your torso hasn't rotated enough to actually be pointing at your target, the rocket will hit you and insta-gib you.

I think biggest shame is that they dont have reload mechanic, even if it would require a second helldiver to jump on your back with supply pack.

whilst moost are hyped to the mech, this might aswell buy the recoilless rifle more time to reloadd etc. Making it more valuable in bug missions.

WARNING! Do not take mechs on bot missions! I don't know if its a bug or not, but atm a regular bot shot can instakill you in 1 or 2 hits at random x) (I assume its a bug, since if seen walkers survive charger contact)

chargers definitely can oneshot the mech with a charge - the missile bots can probably oneshot it too since it's really weak to explosions. so yeah def a bug stratagem not a bot one

@@professormutant3252 so can the regular laser blaster bots. Those are the ones i talk about. I can sorta understand the missile ones, but i would love to see it take atleast 2 shots? Atleast a bit more visual confirmation you just got hit. Instead of instant detonation. I often survive first contact with chargers, sometimes a weapon breaks, but thats it.
