Please do a video in your malt series on the best bags of malt to sleep on during a nighttime brew. Much needed info, thanks.

@@GenusBrewing He meant "grain bed" as in the "grain bed while sparging" ...coz you're lying on a bed of grain.. Double meaning joke!!! I can't believe you guys missed that 😂😂😂

Would be great if you could put up an episode about how extract brewers like myself can change a brew with small malt infusions like toasted/roasted malts. Mostly about technique, timing and amounts used.

I believe Briess extra special malt is a drum roasted crystal malt. Possibly 120L that gets toasted or roasted

Afternoon, wondering is there a malt chart so you can compare grains to specific builds ?I have a hop chart that i use, works great s when building a recipe . Just thinking. Thanks for your time.

There is a grain comparison chart that i've seen floating around, but it isn't great. It lacks specificity and theres a bit it doesn't account for.

Have a video series idea for you gents. “Substitute Teacher”. Pick a hop, malt, or yeast for the topic, and cover considerations for substitutes.

Please...an urgent Question. Currently building a new brewery in SeouL, Korea. My understanding is that for the summer time... HVAC system for Brewery facility is of no problem since Fermenters and brites tank will be GLYCOL jacketed. But I learned that when brewing ALE beer types(which is mostly the case for craft brewing) the temperature shouldn't fall below 10 degrees Celsius during winter. Thus, my question is 1) is it necessary to install some sort of overall heating system for the brewing environment? If so, what type of system? 2) And if it gets installed. Does it have to be turned on 24-7? I reckon it would be waste of electricity cost and all.

are the fermenters indoors? 10C is pretty cold.. you definitely don't want most Ales fermented that cold. If you need a heat Source I would recommend a 2-stage temperature controller that turns either your heat source - or you Glycol solenoid on/off depending on the temperature range. Fermentation will produce its own heat though so depending on where you are fermenting I'd be skeptical that you would even need a heat source.

Beer Straw: An item frequently used in case of awesome thick beer head and or awkward drinking position to ensure no beer spillage or frothed mustache. (a negative affect of awesome thick beer head.)

I usually use a much bigger straw... but it is attached to the bottom of my glass instead of in the top... also my glass in that case is a funnel...

That one we're thinking of giving it's own video since there's a proprietary malting process that goes into making it - otherwise we definitely would have lumped it in here!
