He talks about Turkey and how they are trying to get higher on modern stuff but I believe what makes Turkey an Amazing place is its History, Tradition and people. I believe that if they could keep their Tradition and History at Heart. Turkey could be one of the most successful places in the world. I love turkey for its Tradition and History. They have so many artifacts and environments. Its an amazing place for sure.

well why in countryballs and other memes, Turkey is refereed as kebab and to annoy turkey, write kebab. I am Indian do you literally call that some, we will cook Hindi😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. And is your relation with Greece is uselessly highlighted or in reality bad?????

Turkey has been one of most beautiful countries I visited. Used to cheerfully say that we had our breakfast in Europe and lunch in Asia! Mediterranean beaches, Pammukale, Ephesus, Fethiye, Antalya, Capadoccia, Eskisehir, historical Istanbul - every one of these places were unique and splendid. Shopping at Kadikoy or grand bazaar were nice experiences. It is unfair if I don’t mention about the very friendly set of people Turkey has. Wish India / Turkey relationships gets much better from its dip in recent years.

Mate your mentioning of Cyprus may sound like to some as if the Ottomans have captured Cyprus from Greeks. But Ottomans captured the island from the Venetians. And it was captured in 1571, not in 1570 and was under Ottoman Turkish rule for more than 300 years. Another fact is that Greeks never owned the island in history.

Lonely Wolf1, So whats your point, Greeks cant be conquered, well Greeks were under OTTOMAN rule for 400 years, digest and get rid of constipation. The venetians are greekifications living in Cyprus you are saying.
@lonelywolf14803 жыл бұрын
@@sufibra1051 Mate, I think you need to improve your English skills a bit. And also try to use your intelligence and logic a bit more. I know the Ottoman history. However, my reservation was about the presenter's mentioning of Cyprus, which might have implied to some audiance as if it was under Greek rule at some time in history. Well, as I stated, it was not! On the contrary, it was part of Ottoman empire for over 300 years.

Nice vid! Although there's a tiny detail that caught my attention: in 17:47 the flag that you put is the flag of Papua New Guinea, a country in Oceania, and guineafowls are endemic to Africa. (There are a bunch of different countries with Guinea in their name because they were all colonized by different European powers. When they variously gained their independence they each retained the name Guinea in one form or another. French Guinea became Guinea, in western Africa, where the bird is named after.)

As much as I like Turkey, there is something deeply resenting about a map showing the land of Kirim, home to ancestors of Turks for thousands of years, home to descendants of Tatar, grandson of Genghis khan, subjected to genocide in 1944, as part of Russia. Recognizing anshlus of Crimea is betraying Kirim Tatars.

I would like to make two corrections if I may: Cyprus was not taken from Greeks, it was taken from Venetians, Greeks never owned or conquered that island in history. Island of Cyprus was conquered by Ottoman King Sultan Selim II from Venetians in the year 1571 . Cyprus has been populated by Turkish people ever since then for 451 yrs. Turkish Cypriots feel that it's their country, to put their situation into perspective and understand them we can see how patriotic Americans are about their country which has been formed in the year 1776 and it's been their country for only 246 years and how patriotic Australians are to their county which has been formed in 1901 and has been existing for mere 121 years .. Turkish Cypriots lived there since 1571 and on, it is their home but they have not been recognized and not mattered to even our friends for years.. I would suggest that at least we should be careful with our choice of words, try to be correct when we speak of them and their island home's history. Cyprus was taken from Venetians in 1571. and populated with Turks mostly from Konya and vicinity till Muslim Turks were the majority of population over there for years ....///// Second correction would be about Turks in Mongol army.. although some people in anti-Turk neighbor nation always try to make Turks into Mongols, that would be like making Sicilians and Germans same just because Romans went up to Germanic lands and stayed there for a while. There could be some cultural values borrowed from each other but I don't think every clan of Turks can be related to Mongols or Chinese, especially as we were thought one of the reason certain Turkish clans migrated west of Ural mountains and to the land of Seljuk as Oguz tribe did was because they would be raided and their sons would be kidnapped and forced to serve in Mongol armies and Mongol wars; so if there were Turks in Cengiz Huns army , I would presume they were there not by choice.. According to the way we were thought, Gokturks and other Turkish clans were our kinfolks though. Anyways, people who are not Turks somehow can become self declared experts and try to make Turks be known either as Arabs or Mongols or both..., but some how they are not allowed to be Turks... but Turks never go and tell anyone what they think they are , I mean I have not seen any Turk go to Greeks and say after hundreds of years of Turkish rule they are Turkish, they are mixed race or to a German that they are Turkish mixed ( how many years Huns ruled them? Attila Hun's people stayed there quite a while ) So , there are no 100% pure race anywhere but there are shared cultures and there is Turkic culture , history and shared Turkish language that unites Turkic people in a Turanik way , sort of like north America , England and Australians and zelanders are connected with each other .. So, I just don't think it is tasteful to talk about them on the shows and discussing ones opinion of what they are with an English guest and saying things like: " there are no Turkish people in Turkey , Turkish people should look like Mongols, people in TUrkey don't look like mongols , so they are really just Muslim Greeks" that is not true and if one studies the migration of Turks tru centuries into Anatolia and Selcuk Sultanate one can see when Kayi clan of Oguz Turks came to Sogut they were not the only Turks there on the Anatolian peninsula.. or in Persia or in Kafkasia or all the way to Hungary even. Let's not talk lightly and toy around with Turks nationality, let's not do unto them what we would not do unto others.. Regards, well wishes. and honestly thank you for making this video, it'll wet people's appetite to learn more about ancient Turkish history and other interesting things about Turkish nation... thanks.
