9:50 The first 8 weeks are there to sort out the weak from the strong. You really have to crush people and make sure that they continue, because you cannot afford to train longer with somebody that you cannot count upon. Hence, you cannot build upon somebody that suddenly quits in an unknown scenario just because he is isn’t semper paratus.

Awesome man, im stationed in CT. Just remember to manage your money well. If you're lucky enough o get extra allowances, not something everyone can get, don't blow it on a new car. You may make $800 extra at one unit but when you transfer you may only make $450 or $0.00..I worked with one guy who bought at $60K truck and got transferred to a unit where he can't collect on allowances. I don't know if his wife is working yet but still

The reason why you don't have to wait 6 months to a year now to get into Coast Guard Aviation is because a lot of good experience men and women of excellent character have been forced to retire for your behalf. Don't fubar it up. Keep the tradition, pride and excellence going. Ball is in your court now. Showtime let's see what your made of.

I’m a lifeguard currently and I’m honestly debating whether I should do this or go to the Air Force Academy
@BassicAustinSludge7 ай бұрын
Hello! Im Air Force going Coastguard and if you have the opportunity to go to the Air Force academy, do it. The investment is bigger i would say but if you’re looking for a long term career, AF Academy will provide way more opportunities coming out of it as an officer than just going AST enlisted and doing that for 20 yrs. We had cadets from the AF academy during basic training under our MTI’s and they gave us a good amount of info and insight. AF Academy is no joke but youd get way more out of it if would say…but hey man… Follow your heart.
@EchoBravoIndia7 ай бұрын
Well I have decided Im gonna go to an Academy as long as I get an Appointment when I apply to USMMA, USAFA, and USNA but USNA is now my top choice

Me and my a jack military- agency trained team/ squad just found out whom who we are and met online and we are getting after cracking/passing are physical training tests which will measure r speed distance, endurance, etc.. for air land sea and space. We are planning to meet each other within the next 10 weeks. If not sooner. After that we will start are padi open water course? And do the schedule of diving to get into rescue swimmer school eventually and work as rescue swimmers(heavy😢), because we want to get into combat medical and medicine school! Because we want to c..Is the padi open water course where we should start? Or should we start in the air or on land? Does it matter?
