I have played HSR since launch and I unlocked the free 5-star selector at like 2.1, at that point I had everyone but Yanqing so I chose him

300 is just sooooo many pulls... it feels more like a "bad luck correction" than a 5-star selector. Like if you dodge the only standard character you want 7-8 times in a row, you can finally get them

It takes so long to get to 300 standard pulls that you will lose enough 50/50 by then that all it gets you is an eidolon to make your bronya still useful etc. I'm not rushing but it feels like all the standard 5-stars are power crept out of the game by the time you get to 300

Both, because it's a permanent banner/not limited And because your faves are mix with other characters, the chance for you to get the specific characters of what you want, will be low

Of course if you get lucky and get ellen the first try then you dont have to go through reroll hell and you dont have to risk paying lol

Lycan is S rank the other dude is A rank , there are dudes in the game so y you bitching out also female characters sell wayyyyyy more than male dudes so companies tend to make female characters more also male mc is a S rank so stop complaining or just don’t play the game

Its the same as star rails weapon banner. Where there is only one weapon per banner, and you stake against the 50/50 and if you lose, youre guaranteed to get them if you pull further. Its also only 80 pulls max for a 5* weapon instead of 90

​. Actually the HSR weapon banner(and I assume rates are unchanged in ZZZ) is 75/25 not 50/50 but yes just 1 banner so no chance of pulling the limited you don't want

If yes, damn that does sound tempting, and good to see its making its way into zzz as well (iirc some say its the exact same as in hsr). Obviously, wuwa's guaranteed at 80 pulls would be better but I'll take what i can get.

Getting real tired too, switching back to games that dont focus on collecting limited characters. Very glad I havent given into the WuWa hype, zzz , and mainly only play genshin, some hsr, just really unhappy if i focus on collecting characters, but im happy with quests and exploration, just gotta mentally take that gacha aspect out of my mind to be able to enjoy. Seeing these channels that collect and hype EVERY single character makes people think its normal to get all of them, but in reality they get em because its their job as content creators, it shouldnt be a goal, at least not if you want to be a financially responsible person. Healthcare, college, groceries, rent are expensive, gotta take care of whats actually important sometimes.

i use 4 star weapon novaburst for chixia to clear most content, i dont even have a limited weapon and can still play most endgame. you can play most gacha game without limited weapon if you have good equipment stats and skilled enough

Five stars are supposed to be rare and special for a reason. And with a lack Luster story people just won’t care about them. This game probably won’t be as massive of flop as tow of fantasy but by no means is it a Genshin impact competitor.

I was excited for this game, but a 37.5% chance for the character is a big warning sign that I need to stay away. I've whaled on Genshin and still play. I have a sub 10% 50/50 win rate for characters and a 0% win rate for weapons. I started only pulling characters. Three way Hybrid banners like this are the worst thing in gacha games. Every patch you'll see someone with 12 copies of the character and zero weapons. Based on my genshin pull history, assuming the same number of desired characters/weapons I'll save tens of thousands of dollars playing Wuwa instead of ZZ over the next decade just because of the higher rates and guaranteed weapons. I'll still try ZZZ, but it sounds like the hybrid gacha system is going to kill the game. Winning the character even if you lose the 50/50 was one of the best things about Hoyo games vs other gacaha games, I don't need this split between characters and weapons.

If you're talking about A rank, it'll guaranteed to get every 10 pulls While S rank, even if you lose your chance, you'll get them on the next time you pulled them, it'll be guaranteed While Bangboo can be get from pulling or farming, like doing a lot of tasks and missions to get them But still, let's just watch, play, and see how it goes

You get S rank on the first 50 pulls guaranteed, you can get them on one pull if you're that lucky, then the system will change to normal The characters you wanted will be guaranteed to get if you lose it On 60 or 70 is pulls, the chance to get what you wanted will increased, the max is 90 (if you're actually that unlucky like me with all Gacha games) You'll get free S rank selector from the TOTAL of 300 pulls, which is meant, you have times to play the game and focused on something else Before finally pull to get what you wanted at the same time increase the chance to get the selector You can search up about how things work, what we get from Pre registration, and how the banner system looks like and their rules to understand more about the game HoYo especially with Honkai Impact 3rd is being generous and keep giving free S rank characters, weapons, outfits etc since a long time ago that you can use until today, while Genshin has given Alloy, HSR with Ratio So I'm pretty sure this game will also get their own free S rank character someday
