This meta has shaken up positions for many characters including ruan mei and Gallagher and today we will be going in depth to talk about all these changes and how the break effect meta has changed the importance of a bunch of different characters!

@esejoshrodz2271 pls explain how gallagher more sp postive than adventurine and u need a lot of skill points for firefly and due to fire weakness gallagher can brake and without him u could brake on first turn meaning firefly couldn't do break dmg he has a debuff to increase the dmg of break and don't talk to me about sustaining as there broking most of the time. Also gallagher bessoted completely nullifies firefly drain health mechanic whereas as if adventurine shield runs out she could get one shot as asventurine can't heal.For me gallagher can do 300k dmg contributing to the dmg 300k broken up basic ult enchanced basic so I confused how adventurine is better for break teams for you

Everyone keeps talking about how great it is that with Firefly you dont need to worry about crit stats at all for relics and how much easier it will make building her. Well, on her planar ornaments and relic set all i keep getting are crit substats. No Break Effect, no Speed, no attack, just lots and lots of crit stats and defense. People were delusional thinking that not needing crit stats would make farming relics any less tedious lol

There is no difference by going for crit/crit DMG and speed and break sub stats They both a pain to grind

Crit-based characters also want ATK% and (usually) SPD, so Firefly is a little easier to farm a near-optimal set for. Just not all that much easier.

@jamesrochester2459 not really, just attack boots is fine. Hypercarry dps have harmony buffers with advance forward and attackbuffs so they only need to focus on 2 stats

Well I E6 Gallagher due to pulling for Firefly. I just need to get her relics and I should be good since I have Fall of A Aeon LC maxed. On my F2P alt, I am skipping Firefly, but due to how strong Ruan Mei, I don't think I can skip her even if I have her on my main. However with the break meta and just how universal she is, I might just have to roll on her on my alt.

The Gamurai wanted Acheron and Sam months ago got Acheron then wanted to save for Sam.. got Adventurine. 😅 Fast forward to Firefly reveal no longer wanted Sam as much so started pulling Boothill, saw you, Iyo & Moon stream that made me want Firefly again stopped pulling boothill a week ago now I have Firefly! 😎 shoutout to Iyo unfort that he couldn’t get her

Went in with 250 pulls + Guaranteed at 10 pity was hoping for at least E1S0 FF.... Walk away with E2S1 with 40+ pulls leftover nice. Any i have nothing to say about the list i basically agree with everything and Yo my boi Gallagher up there in the big leagues now lol.

Ruan Mei was ALWAYS T0. The people at Prydwen are just unnecessarily stubborn and half the time I feel they just place characters "just to have someone in this tier" or "to not offend anybody" instead of being a *meta-based* tier list like they claim. Did it seriously take them this many patches to see the writing on the wall?

The break meta made her teir 0. Break meta just came out in 2.3

@@MaineOneV1 She's been T0 (S+) since her release. Robin/Sparkle never matched (or exceeded) Mei's raw/unique value, therefore they *cannot* exist in the same tier as her. The fact you can put her on *literally every team comp, Ever,* should speak for itself, as that is immense and unmatched value. All this "break meta" did was widen that gap between her and the rest of the supports even further (to the point where prydwen literally cannot ignore it). This is how tier lists actually work, but Prydwen barely knows how to make a tier list.

for me is much worse for people who pulled boothill thinking he was at same level with ruan mei and firefly... it is not even close... Luocha works for other older comps, but boothill wants the same team as firefly and he is much worse, and they are both new

The only time my FX ever dies in high-conundrum level G&G or high-level Swarm Disaster. She completely survives MoC, Apoc. Shadow, etc. The trick? S5 Landau's Choice. With that level of damage mitigation she's pretty much impossible to kill. Not only that, she gets hit more, so her Ult comes up faster so she gets her healing stacks more often.

Idk how you can say FF doesnt need HMC. HMC is absolutely needed. Tier 0 with HMC 100%, but without? She feels terrible. BH feels a lot better without HMC than FF. FF is just nutty with HMC.

Fu Xuan can sustain enough it`s more of Aventurine can deal damage. It is still possible to die with Aventurine as well if you get unlucky especially in the new AS

The only thing I disagree with is Fu Xuan moving down. I just pulled her on her rerun and have no problem in MOC 11-12, Apocalyptic Shadows, and high level G&G. Shes by far my most useful character. I think Aventurine is VERY overrated gameplay wise, and kinda shit in terms of story/personality to top it off. Its sad to see people starting to downplay Fu Xuan

I agree she's being downplayed a bit much. Just because she doesn't have a special niche like a lot of the other sustains. The 12% crit rate is really nice, but it's not as "flashy" as Aventurine's follow ups, Huohuo's energy refill or Gallagher's 100k super break procs. I totally don't see Aventurine being alone in tier 0 tho, it makes no sense to me. Especially since Prydwen themselves have said "we don't rate sustains based on damage" and they're not allowed to have their signature lightcones. It does seem like they are given their best team tho (otherwise Gallagher doesn't go up in the tier list). I do feel like Prydwen has forgotten Gepard despite him being the ceiling for Acheron teams.
