Love listening to Shaykh Omar Mash’Allah and looking forward to more series and videos Insha’Allah! One thing about fasting intentions, I believe in the Hanafi madhab you can make the intention to make up Ramadan fasts and fast the six of Shawwal at the same time, which is really a huge benefit. May Allah forgive me if I’m wrong, but hoping it might benefit others who struggle to do both.

Questions 4:52 what if i have make up days from Ramadan, do I make them up first or do I fast the 6 days of shawwal first? 7:26 do I fast them consecutively or do I break them up? 9:23 advice

Jizakullah khair for clarifying different schools about shawal fasting. Inshallah follow the advice of maintaining the habit. Fasting options that I find doable with pleasure is to fast Monday/ Thursday and 13, 14, 15 th of shawal inshallah

Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever fasts Ramadan and follows it with six days of Shawwal , it will be as if he fasted for a lifetime.” (Narrated by Muslim, Abu Dawud, al-Tirmidhi, al-Nasai and Ibn Majah).

My younger sister Maria watched the Jannah series at the beginning of Ramadan and said to me, "I think Omar Sulaiman will make a series about Jahannam after that. Because he has finished making series about angels(1,2) , Meeting Muhammad (ﷺ), judgment day, Jannah. So he will make a series about Jahannam. Now in Jannah series Yaqeen background color and omar sulaiman's clothes are white color, so I think in Jahnnam series omar sulaiman's clothes will be red color and Yaqeen will also be red color (to mean hell)." In this video imam omar you said that after Jannah there will be a series about Jahannam.... After hearing this I was very surprised that my younger sister's ideas were so similar.

ASAK Sheikh! You mentioned fasting in Ramadan followed by 6 days of Shawwal is like fasting an entire lifetime. Whereas, other sources and Imaams mention as it is as good fasting an entire YEAR.
