80% checo's fault for holding his position when wasn't gaining on Sainz while both drivers were chasing Leclerc's slip-stream. 20% of the fault lies on Sainz for not using his side mirrors, lack of awareness caused him a podium finish. However majority of incident's fault lies with checo for not yielding any space, he has far more information than sainz on how close their cars are from each other and how its literally a slight turn away from an incident.

I gotta say I feel like Perez shoulders alot of blame for the crash for how aggressive he became once he saw leclare leave the door open for Sainz to rush through. You could literally see his driving language change from trying to be efficient in his pass to thinking "oh hell nawl" and suddenly pushing super hard. Not to mention camping in the center of the track once the turn had ended and not allowing space for Sainz. Lowkey should have been a penalty.

If you say a racing incident is 50/50 blame. I would put Checo at 60 to Sainz 40 for the blame. Putting J.... Sainz BELOW 50% for the blame. Checo didn't deliberately cause it but he was in a better position to prevent it. But it was a tough situation to be in the straight so its not his fault it happened either.
