Hopefully they will include streamline in brushes individualy so it will be easier to draw without jittery lines, so basically we need sometimes. To draw on procreate then transfer to dreams and i rhink that also took time as well

how many layers do we get to work with IF we want to make videos for youtube dimensions on iPad pro 500gb model 13inch ?

You can add as many layers as you like until you run out of memory - it’ll also depend on how much ram you have, length of the animation, detail etc. would recommend breaking your files up so it doesn’t overwhelm your ipad

Also good for tracking progress - I know it can be difficult to be motivated if I’ve got a massive project and doesn’t feel like anything is moving forward

@@financialpot help.procreate.com/articles/zlexav-ipad-compatibility within each track you can have quite a few layers. I can't give you an exact layer limit because each project is different. You might have more luck reaching out to the developers if you want exact numbers.

So kind of doing initial research on which model to buy that will get things done without much trouble on the animation process..also keeping the budget bit lighter. 1TB is bit towards the costlier side while 500 gb seems little workable..sorry I am still bitting my nails..haha

You can import a reference photo to a new track and have it outside the canvas (or on it!) or you can use split screen to show your reference on procreate or the photos app :)

when i undo with 2 fingers more than once the undo goes too far back undoing things i dont want undoing anybody else has this issue ??

So I had this on mine, the 'hold' for undo/redo is VERY quick so if you do a two-finger tap it you have to immediately lift your fingers off the screen so it doesn't activate the longer undo/redo. I've seen a few comments in forums about extending the time before it activates so I'm hoping it'll be in an update/fix soon :)

There should be a way to fix that already! If you go into the project settings, there should be a place called preferences. In there, there is a slider for rapid undo delay, and you can change the number to something more comfortable!

Expand the group and you can drag new tracks into the group, though it’s sometimes a little buggy it does work

So you’ll need to make a new track or add the media you want to the timeline by tapping the plus on the right. From there you can then click and drag the new track/media into the group :)

@@kdsketch I don't think you understand my question. I'm in theater mode looking at my files. From there when I choose select at the right. I can add a "new" folder. There isn't a option to move selection to an existing folder.

OH!! Your last comment made it clearer. Currently you can’t move projects to existing folders from theatre mode or drag and drop them like you can with procreate. If you move files into folders you also can’t move them out. To bring a file back to the main page of the theatre I’ve had to export the dream file and import it again as though it’s a new project. Hoping they bring in the drag and drop system because it’s much more convenient

One was made specifically for animation and the other for drawing (though you can animate in procreate I prefer dreams) :)

procreate has many more drawing tools and features so you can set up backgrounds, designs and characters and drag them into dreams and focus on animating there :) Much easier than trying to do it all in dreams, procreate alone is worth it tbh :)

I think one should just work in 4k and then scale down if you need to rather than scaling up.

You definitely shouldn’t scale up!! HD is a good scale to work at but on the lower spec iPads it’s not as stable/fast at 4k which is why I’d recommend HD :)

@@kdsketch This was still be applicable since this will work in principle just always work at the highest resolution possible it doesn't necessarily need to be 4K But if the machine or device you have gives you that ability then take!
