i use glass bead stops but i put a sequin on top of the glass bead to keep the bead secure above the glass bead stop

I have that okuma cascade didn’t know you could put a bobber on it :) thought it was just a spinning rod

Hey bro happy fishing. I wanted to pass along a huge tip that saved me a lot of money and frustration. I don't use the thread bobber stops anymore because they have broke the ceramic rod guides on multiple of my float rods. Started using the egg shaped rubber stops and i havent had an issue. Fish on amigos amd if you can invest in a centerpin reel and rod for ultimate steelhead adventures

What size and style weights did you use for this set up? I’m going for steelheads for the first time and wanted to get it right.

It all depends on the bobber size. You can get 1/2oz bobbers, 1oz bobbers, ect. For steelhead I prefer a half ounce bobber. The pickup half ounce weights
