I was going to say that tungsten weights and sliders are nothing new.Good old pencil lead works plenty good enough for me though.

I like your set up I run something very similar. One addition I like as well is I have a bobber stop above the swivel at your leader. This way if you snag up and break off you just lose your bead and hook not your bobber, weight etc. Good luck be blessed and tight lines

Great tip. It's always a bummer when you actually snag and lose the bobber. I'm going to try that. I really like those weights. They are a game changer. Elevated tackle has the best price and I need to stock up with 1oz also. I hope you have a great steelhead season.

No need for the snap swivel to connect your leader if you’re tying it directly. Just use a micro barrel swivel and keep it more stealthy.

Welcome friend. It seems like soft beads are not cheap anywhere lol. Prices kill me these days. I like Lured beads, and they give a military discount. Elevated tackle also has nice beads and if you use my discount code they are 15% off. I also use B&R beads and sometimes Amazon has a good deal on packs. You just have to watch for deals.
