I -have to say that your video is one of the best out there related with this topic. Remind to the audience that they will not make a sale if they do not spend $$$ in advertisement. I opened my store with one product and advertised and I did not make one sale. I stop campaign and start working on more atractive things and add other pages. Also I am adding more product to run the google campaign again. Hopefully I start running it today, and hope I can make sales. I have been four months paying to Shopify for website and I have made nothing while my husband feet continue getting destroyed by working in a hospital on his feet helping people for over 30 years, very frustrating and sad.

Whilst I could find a thousand people to assist by jumping onto fiverr, upwork, freeeup, freelancer.com and so on, I would love it if Oberlo had a list of recommended VAs (individuals, not companies). Hi David! Thanks for this very informative tutorial. I just have a couple of quick questions regarding the Shipping Settings (33:20) where you include multiple countries as your target zones: 1) Will the items you are selling be automatically displayed in their corresponding currencies, for example if you are based in Germany and advertising your products in Euros and someone from the USA comes to your store, will the prices be displayed in USD? Or will they see the price of the product and purchase it in Euros? And if so, 2) How does that work when it comes to the checkout process? Will the customer be billed in Euros and will it automatically be converted in the USD equivalent or will they have to do the math themselves?
@Oberlo6 жыл бұрын
Hi there, thanks for the questions! I'll answer your questions in order to make sure I don't miss anything. 1) The currency your customer will see is the currency you use through your bank. If you would like them to see the currency converted, you ca easily offer that with a free currency converter app on Shopify (bit.ly/2oBeOG8). 2) The customer will always be billed in the currency of your bank. Even if they view it as USD through a currency converter, when they go to checkout it will show the original currency. Hope that helps! -David

What will the product look like when it gets to the customer? Can we customize labels and any invoices placed inside of the package so it doesn't look like it came from China? Also, any invoices the customer receives in their package will not say what we (the seller) paid for the product, right? Should we be setting up a separate bank account for our business or can we link to our personal bank account?
@Oberlo5 жыл бұрын
Hey there! Great questions. Suppliers default packages will not be customized and not all suppliers will offer this. To find out if your suppliers do white labelling (customized labels) you can message and ask. If you're not sure how to contact a supplier, follow this help doc (bit.ly/35lafFd). Suppliers don't usually add any invoices in the package itself, with that said Oberlo will automatically attach a message to each one of your orders that asks the supplier not to include any invoices or promotional materials. If they do add this in it would show what you (the merchant) paid the supplier and most times the amount is even lower than what you paid. This is how suppliers avoid any customs fees attached to the package. For example in Canada if a package coming into the country is worth under $20 they will not charge anything extra, if it's above they have a choice to do it. I have never had to pay duty on any products from AliExpress because of this. Last but not least you should be setting up a business account for your business. It's good to keep things separate. 😀 -Kitana

Great video David. Well thought out by Oberlo. However, I did not see the shipping time involved for the customer to know when to expect package. How long does epacket take say from China to Europe which will be my initial market. Also, if say someone buys 3 items in the same purchase, all from different suppliers, how does one place those orders? Does Oberlo account for that? Does customer receive 3 different parcels? Please help. Thanks

Hi David that mean I need to pay for the product first before customer pay it? I thought customer pay the product and then It will automatically deduct from item that sell between profit and product cost
@Oberlo6 жыл бұрын
Hey Dafi! You can do both. When a customer places an order, it takes 2-3 days for that money to be deposited into your bank account. You can wait those 2-3 days and then use that money to pay the supplier. Or, you can pay the supplier right away (to reduce shipping time) and then the money from the customer will be deposited to cover the cost and profit in those 2-3 days. -David

Looking forward to your feedback and thanks again for the great video.

AliExpress works as a single entity, even though there are thousands of suppliers. Which is to say that, when you place an order on AliExpress, they will work out the different supplier relationships. For you customers, they will receive two separate packages and likely a two separate times if they order two products from different suppliers. -David
