Yeah floaters are annoying. I'm 18 and I've had them for like 3 years and I've visited 2 eye doctors that said it's all good. Mine are pretty big and I'm seeing them all day long ( alot less at night/dark ) Usually good sleep schedual and fruits make them less noticeable
@dowahkin18523 жыл бұрын
@Colby S yep it kinda makes you depressed. I also don't like to sit in well lit places for too long or go outside on sunny days for too long. I know for a fact that sometimes floaters appear after head trauma. Also my eye doctor said that she had floater's after a head trauma in her childhood. When I was about 15 years old I hit my head realy bad and that might of coused it. I also have to take medication for blood pressure that might also Couse eye floaters and sometimes when my blood pressure I high I can see them alot more. so it might be something to with the medication you take P.s sorry for my english (it's not the best)

I first searched for how to relieve the common cold, found an awesome video you made, went into your channel and I see a day ago that you made a video on eye floaters which I have been worrying about for a long time. I believe it's fate that I ran into your channel! I'm doing my first year of pharmacy in university, and being honest I haven't been working hard on my studies because I was initially wanting to do medicine and become a doctor, but I didnt get into med school so I'm doing pharmacy which was my second option. I didn't have any motivation to study and thought I only needed passing grades. But watching your videos, you're so knowledgeable and cool that you seem like a doctor. I have underestimated the work that pharmacists do, and I thank you for having a youtube channel and making informative videos. You have opened my eyes to what my future could be like (not making youtube videos but giving informative advice for patients), so I hope you continue to make these videos because they are so helpful and I want them to be a reminder for me to work harder so I don't become an ignorant pharmacist.

As a kid, I mainly saw it when traveling at night in the backseat of the car, possibly triggered by street lights and traffic lights. Eye floaters are common and normal, which doesn’t mean it is an easy case, they are really annoying, and they make people depressed, deprive quality of life. What annoyed me the most is the specialists keep saying they are normal and act like nothing you need to worry about, but the truth is eye floaters are really hard to deal with. hello doctor i am 18 years old and i have eye floaters. When I am at home I do not see anything when looking at a white wall or a shiny surface, but I see it wherever I look outside, what do you think is the reason for this? (my eye floaters ain't black, my eye floaters are transparent and ring) will this disappear by itself?

So after the floaters settle at the bottom of the eyes, will it create pressure to the eyes causing glaucoma?

They slowly have been showing up since my early teens and now I see them all day, I am a bit worried, I don’t know if I’ve seen any of these “flashes” but my eye floaters do seems to be picking up recently. Not sure what to do really.

There's a study this year looking into causative factors. Nobody knows why they appear in younger people. Once they do a pharmaceutical approach will be much easier.

My floaters don't really bother me, I just have one larger one in my right eye, and it has a slightly thicker yet still translucent spot on the part facing my nose, but I see through it, it just blurs as it passes, but that was the first one I got, about 3-4 years ago
