Is there a difference between whisky and whiskey, other than the spelling?

No difference other than spelling. Whiskey (with an 'e') usually refers to grain spirits distilled in Ireland and the United States. Whisky (with no 'e') typically refers to Scottish, Canadian, or Japanese grain spirits. I always find it fun to see which bottles spell it which way
