Did repos a few times back in the 80s. Every time, if the owner was present, you'd hear "you can't take MY car". My reply was always "You're right, I can't take YOUR car, but this one belongs to the bank and they want it back". They usually just gave up at that point. We just drove the cars away as we always had keys regardless of them handing their keys to us or not.

That was the best result to that guy calling you names when you are being polite to tell them you can be a jerk and strictly 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Perfect response to a jerk off whom doesn't appreciate your understanding of out of towners whom are spending a lot of money on their vacation but are trying to be a cheapskate on getting their vehicles back.... You should buy trail camera and put them all along your tow gates and around your property it would be wonders of voices and sounds from responses of illegal parking people.

My husband would never throw his service to our country on the ground like that he is a Vietnam vet that proudly served and would never be so disrespectful. What kind of bottom dweller thinks that’s ok. Veterans had a job to do, they did it and some lived to see another day. 45 years of marriage bliss and counting.😊 I have never seen him not be man enough to except responsibility for his actions.😊

I think they are highly dangerous and best avoided but you handled this one well by treating the gentleman with respect. I hope he was able to get his car back.

My brother did it for a couple of weeks and quit, said it was the most stressful job he ever had. I think you having a calm demeanor when they are being a bit nasty and you probably are a bit ticked inside helps put them in check. And that last one the white truck.. they were parked in the spot next to the sandwich eating lady..sheesh. Such a beautiful place to live. Can you imagine what it was like when dolly parton lived there as a child? Without all the hustle and bustle, cabins everywhere..As beautiful as it is now I can just imagine how amazing it was seventy years ago. Another wonderful video! That guy with the repo...I had that happen with an automatic payment, and all we did was update the expiration date on the card. It somehow kicked out the payment and made us have to pay a late fee because we didn't realize it would do that. I hope he can get it straightened out.

Finance companies don’t just repo for one late payment. If it had a gps locator he probably already had it repossessed at least once or is an extremely high risk with previous repos. His story is likely a lie and he’s several months behind

That repo happened with us. The bank sold the loan that was automatically came out of our account and didn’t tell us until about a month later after it was repoed. We had to pay full balance to get the van back. We had my power chair in the van. The wrecker man let us get it anything out. We borrowed the money from our retirement account. We pay our selves the interest.

Some store owners and hobbyists just want to get the word out on their product. Not everything is "fishy" there are still nice people in the world. Sometimes word of mouth via a channel you like and enjoy can be worth 10 - 30 sales of other people stating, "I saw em on EA and he said they were comfy so I figured I would try em out!" My dad owned a boot store for almost 45 years. If a person came in and needed boots for work and hadn't received a paycheck yet or had a family he would offer them a payment plan. I remember Ollie who came in every Friday for 3 months to pay a little at a time on his boots. After that he was a valued customer for almost 22 years. I stood on milk crates the first time I rang him up age 7 and then in the late 90's when dad retired he shook dad's hand and was sad to see the store close.
