I started buying some more stocks at the beginning of the year, but nothing big. Why am I treating this so harshly? I still want to be the first person in my polygamous family to make a million dollars despite the fact that others in my field make six figures per person. If the market has taught me anything, it's that it usually makes a comeback, but I can't seem to concentrate on the long term, especially because important things like my retirement and my reserve are having a disastrous impact on inflation. I need a solution and a data trajectory that I can trust as soon as it is practicable.

Currently, the best market strategy is to work with a credible investing coach. Since a while ago, I've been in touch with a coach, mostly because I lack the depth of understanding and mental toughness to deal with the ongoing market conditions. You lack the information necessary to succeed in a competitive market, not because you're doing anything wrong, but rather because of your lack of experience.

Give up on buying every stock that a KZbinr recommends; sometimes, they do it to fill their pockets. Consult a financial advisor before making any investing decisions rather than depending solely on KZbin.
@TylerofSc0042 ай бұрын
Likewise, I only use KZbin for research. My advisor is involved in all significant investment decisions. DIY projects are risky due to market volatility. To be successful in investing, you don't have to track down the next NVDA. Select high-quality ETFs, dividend aristocrats, and a dependable advisor. A significant accomplishment, I've turned $20k into $10k in annual dividends.

There's 30 reasons why/how I could burn this fool's fallacious thinking but i neither have the time nor will he ever read it. So, this comment is for you the reader. 1. he means it, he wishes he had 100 BABAs because he's gonna get half of them wrong and wants to spread his risk 2. BABA MIGHT be a decent trade - I am in it, but size appropriately. He's sized the risk wrongly. BABA's medium term range is $70 to 95 (if you're lucky) and there is a real risk of going to ZERO (unlike more profitable less risky stocks like TSLA and NVDA) because we can wake up one day where China invades Taiwan and the ADR goes to ZERO. Trade carefully. GL!

@@MidwestOptimist Investing in China can be considered risky due to the potential for government intervention and regulatory unpredictability. A prominent example is the case of Alibaba and its founder, Jack Ma. In October 2020, Jack Ma made public comments criticizing China's regulatory system, suggesting it stifled innovation and was outdated. Shortly after his speech, Chinese authorities began a series of regulatory actions against Ma and his businesses. ### Key Events: 1. **Suspension of Ant Group IPO**: Just days before its scheduled IPO, which was set to be the largest in history, Chinese regulators suspended Ant Group's listing, citing regulatory concerns. Ant Group is an affiliate of Alibaba. 2. **Antitrust Investigation**: In December 2020, Chinese regulators launched an antitrust investigation into Alibaba, focusing on its monopolistic practices. This led to Alibaba being fined a record $2.8 billion in April 2021. 3. **Jack Ma's Disappearance**: Jack Ma largely disappeared from public view for several months following his criticism, sparking global speculation about his safety and the Chinese government's stance towards dissent from high-profile entrepreneurs. 4. **Regulatory Crackdown**: The actions against Alibaba were part of a broader crackdown on China's tech industry, with new regulations affecting data privacy, antitrust issues, and financial stability. These events illustrate how quickly the Chinese government can move to regulate and control businesses and individuals who are perceived to challenge its authority. This level of government intervention creates uncertainty for investors, as the regulatory landscape can change rapidly and unpredictably, potentially jeopardizing investments.

You're using a future pe of 8, when ttm pe is 16 on baba. At the end of the day, we are all speculating on anything we buy based on the numbers that were. I feel that could be dangerous to do with emotions of something you think it will repeat itself with Baba of PayPal based on what the price once was and setiment used to be. If people don't change their minds on Baba and PayPal, it will never recover regardless of how much it grows and does. For how much people use the past and then use a future pe seems conflicting. They are a money-printing machine… buying 8% of all outstanding shares this year at PE of 15… but purge problem is they have no idea how to get more money from people… they need to pivot, but they last “big feature release” sucked

Stop fooling amateur investors with your stupid value proposition on dead stocks like Baba and Paypal. This guy has been blowing the trumpet on Baba from last 4 years since it was at $280. Instead look at wonderful growing companies in America.

Paypal is a declining business. There is no long term future. No one uses Paypal to pay for something. Niche product.
