Yea nathans the man! Ive hunted rabbits with 10mm tubes all my life. Just converted my home made slingshot to 4x1mm bands. Its even faster and more accurate. Mine will shoot marbles 40ft in about a quarter of a second. Now its even faster with bands

It's June 2023, and today I just received my very first SCOUT LT slingshot, ever ! I have never tried a slingshot other than a kid in the 70's toy. I'm excited to get into the sport and the competitions look like fun social gatherings with non stop laughter.

I got one of these two weeks ago. I was using a Daisy B52. I had no idea how much accuracy I was sacrificing, and with light ammo this thing shoots just as fast, maybe faster. It's great!

Hi could you possibly tell me if cuttung bands diagonally changes the dynamics of the band? Or is it ok? Also why do some forks have like a disc or almond shape at the top? Does it not cut the bands?

Love the Scout LT, especially the Pro version. After 5 years and 30 frames including beautiful cast aluminum and handmade Chinese, I decided to pick just one frame, bands and pouch, quit experimenting and get accurate with it. I now use All Simple- Shot stuff. The new Beautiful well made aluminum Pro LT with handle weights is the BEST for me. The other ergonomic frames feel good in my hand in the house, look beautiful but it is when shooting 50+ rounds well, without once thinking about your frame, that's what is important. Some frames feel better than they shoot. Many little design features add up to the total package. GO LT.

Absolutely amazing and versatile catapult! If only the fork tips were a little wider (25-30mm), doubt I'd be shooting any other frame:) Looking forward to trying the Torque though. Keep up the good work!

My 1st 3 shots with my new scout lt were all on target. I didnt want to shoot again incase I lost my 100% accuracy record. I love it. I also added the weight and it has now become my 1st choice replacing my ocularis. I also switched from ttf with the ocularis to ott with the scout lt without any issues. Only been using it 2 days and can hit a can at 9 yards without even sighting in. This thing is amazing, thanks Nathan

You should make a clip with a fibre optic sight, most chinese frames use them and they are becoming very popular in the UK and ireland I find they have really improved my accuracy. I think that frame would be awesome with a fibre optic on the clip

I have been shooting slingshots on and off for several years. I have a really nice collection, and many sizes and styles. But I constantly switched off between them. Even during one shooting session. If I started missing, I'd pick up another model. I never worked through and corrected my bad habits. Recently I decided to pick one model and put the rest in a box, and shoot this one exclusively. After a few days of shooting them all. I settled on the Scout LT. With the better more efficient latex The trend now is to smaller frames and lighter ammo, easily portable and pocketable too. Even though I have preferred TTF Band (through the forks) attachment. I think this model shoots and aims best for me OTT (over the top) band attachment. I am now shooting only 5/16 size steel. With matching simple shot bands. Wow, I have finally figured out the best anchor point and pouch release. The cans don't have a chance anymore. I bought an orange frame so I can better see my aiming point in the darker woods. I got a couple more frames, the same LT so I can soon experiment with lighter bands and clay biodegradable ammo in the woods. And plastic practice ammo in my motel rooms. All with identical frames. I got a foldable catch box from Amazon for $16 that folds up the size of a saucer but springs open full size. It's great. This has been a great move for me.

It has reached my Japan home finally on Monday. The impressions tried out are light, and it's easy to grasp and it's easy to shoot, and are hit against a target easily and are best. Time prefers to take a review video.

Update on my new scout LT. Just managed to hit 5 dead ringers in a row on a 1.5 inch target at 33ft using TTF with simpleshot's 12×18mm bands at their original 10.5in length and 3/8 steel ball. I've never shot TTF before and never managed even 2 back to back on that target and I shoot my torque every day. I think I found my future competition slingshot. HIGHLY recommend! My only complaint is that I would much prefer those bands to come with the slingshot rather than the big heavy bands. Can barely hit a 1.5ft target with those things and only if I'm aiming somewhere else entirely 😅

Great question. While a philips is far better for control, the slot is large enough to be worked with a coin, washer, the back of your knife, etc. It's strictly to be as tool-less as possible!

The results for accuracy would not be good. It would be impossible to get the ammo in the exact same spot each time as well as the exact same stretch around it.

What's the advantages of over or threw the forks? I know it's what ever you like but I'm sure there are advantages and disadvantages

Probably the most "popular" reason is the sighting down the band. Some like to sight down the width of the band and some sight down the edge. OTT gives you a very thin sight down the band. TTF gives you a much wider sight. Also, TTF generally brings the shot closer to your hand.

Ok,why do you use two types of screws? Meaning philips head and flat? Why not both one or the other then you only need one tool to service?

We're hoping that once your scales are on, they're on. Philips works much better for this little screw. But the FlipClips use a large flat head so you can use a washer, coin, knife, etc. You should only need one tool to service. Swapping swells is just a cosmetic change. :)

A slot was specifically chosen because who carries around a Philips driver? But the slot is easily turned by all sorts of things, for example, a coin, the back of a pocket knife blade, a washer, or any other thin flat thing you can think of! 👊
