Thor Ragnarök has the best representation of Hulk in my opinion. He was as strong and prone to anger as always, but he has grown sociable enough to show some self-control too. Not to mention it was great hearing him talk more while still having his Hulk-like intellect. I didn't hate the "Banner/Hulk" hybrid as much as everyone else does, but I can see why they prefer this version. I think the issue isn't that Bruce Banner and Hulk came full-circle in Endgame, I think the issue is they came full-circle *too early.* Hopefully for everyone, "Banner/Hulk" is more of a "Hulk on safety mode" thing and not a *permanent solution,* because I think it would be more interesting for Hulk to show more self control WITHOUT needing Bruce Banner.

I like how Thor Ragnarok kinda humanized Hulk a little bit, he talked the most in this movie and you see a bit of Banner when they sit down and talk after arguing with each other. It's why I believe that Hulk and Thor are my favourite Marvel duo because their characters work so well together, Thor isn't from Earth but rather Asgard, a faraway place and sometimes hasn't felt like he belonged there, whilst Hulk feels like Earth hates him and would much rather be in a different place. But deep down they both know the other Avengers have their backs.

I love the development of hulk from the movies. At first he is like a toddler that’s extremely jacked and throws tantrums. But when Banner is stranded on Sakaar he stays as the hulk. And due to the hulk basically having full control for years he was able to grow up in a sense, instead of constant “tantrums” and limited emotions he becomes more human. He also is able to talk more, express more, and have more control as a individual being.

It truly hurts me we never got to see more of the Savage Hulk personality in Endgame (beyond the flashback) after he was utterly muted in Infinity War. He was one of the best parts of Ragnarok and the idea they neutered every bit of anger and rage in him just to have Banner wear a big green skinsuit was insulting. It's like Banner killed Hulk off screen and wore his body.

You can thank Universal for that. Keeping the Hulk brand name for seemingly no reason If they hadn't done that, we probably would have gotten to see Bruce and Hulk's journey coming to terms with each other. Bruce reclaiming the memories of his abusive past by Hulk, Hulk becoming accepted by society after being called a monster for so long, maybe even a little montage during the final fight with Bruce trapped his mind syncing his movements with Hulk in the real world Instead we get cheated out of a beautiful story about healing from trauma. What a joke
