Even after 4 years, these are still some of the best sounding drums you've ever reviewed. That tone is just beautiful.

No expense spared on the microphones that's for sure! That's what sets Drummers Review apart from their peers. The production quality is perfect! Lots of natural room ambience, close mics to fill in the gaps and not over mixed. This gives a really honest representation of how these instruments sound in a space. Nolly... You are the man!

I love that you start each of these videos with playing. Not only that, you can tell you've tried to match the intervals of the toms and bass drums with each kit. I can skim through any of your videos and immediately compare to the last kit I heard, giving an impeccable comparison between sets. Some videos of other channels have a tacky 30 second intro and up to as much as 4 or 5 minutes of talking before you hear anything, which is far too long to have another sound memorized to compare (I'm looking at you Drum Center of Portsmouth. Y'all review amazing kits but make us suffer way too much drivel begore delivering the goods.) This kit is incredible. Few else I've ever heard compares. The smaller toms are just a bit lacking, if anything. But the floors and bass drum are to die for. Just astounding.

Ordered my personal snare at Evetts this summer. Listened to some snare sound examples here and fell in love with the spotted gum shells. So I ordered MY custom design& sizes. Sounds crazy and I never have done so before but... Everything went so smooth from the very beginning to the delivery. And that was a long way from down under to Germany. Absolutely worth the money though and it‘s not even really expensive considering the fact that it‘s hand made and customized. I can recommend Evetts to anybody who wants a beautiful snare, shaped to his own preferences for a nice price!

I gotta say, this is one of the best looking and sounding kits you have featured on your channel. When you did the volume demo for each drum, it took very little for each drum to sing which shows just how flawless the bearing edges are, even with a head such as a Remo Emperor that does dampen a bit of the volume. The rim mount clearly doesn't affect the sound of the drum either, it's like it's not even there and the drum is floating. There are a lot of great custom drum companies that are not well known, such as Red Rock Drums Australia, Craviotto, INDe Drum Lab, North Custom Drums in the UK (which unfortunately just went on hiatus a few months ago while the owner focuses on his health, so here's to hoping that he gets well soon and continues doing what he loves), and those are just the ones I can name off the top of my head. I'm very happy to have seen this video after not knowing much about the company. I hope to see more great reviews in the future (hopefully one on the Gretsch Renown RN2, Pearl Session Select or the new Yamaha wood snare drums), bhe thing I would love to see come 2019 is a comparison of kick drum pedals similarly to how you've done your drumhead comparison videos. I've played a Gibraltar 6700 double pedal for years and have considered upgrading to something such as a Tama Speed Cobra 910, Pearl Redline Eliminator, Gibraltar 9800 Stealth or 9700 G Class, or a DW 9000. I'm a big fan of dual chain drives and longboards but don't know much about the differences between these pedals. I trust that you at Drummer's Review could do an excellent bass drum pedal comparison and go into depth about the spring assembly, adjustability, responsiveness or whatever other categories would work for comparing bass drum pedals. Love what you guys are doing here Nolly, keep up the awesome stuff!!

I now have a 7-piece Evetts kit in Tasmanian Blackwood, thanks in part to this video review. I love it. It's an amazing kit, both in looks and sound. It's easy to tune, the drums and hardware feel absolutely rock solid and the build quality is incredible. I've owned it for around 6 or 7 months and even with being lazy about tuning it still manages to sound amazing.

Hi David, I wonder if you could tell me how you feel the Tasmanian Blackwood compares with the spotted gum? Is it slightly warmer in tone? Regards Dave

@@davehunter935 Hi Dave, unfortunately I haven't been able to hear a spotted gum kit in person so I'm really not sure I could give an accurate comparison. Mine has also been confined to my practice space for a while (which doesn't sound great) so I don't think I could give a fair assessment. But if you email Steve at Evetts, he can definitely answer that question for you.

+Drummer's Review Fantastic sounding drums and quite beautiful as well. Props on the excellent demo by Nick (as usual), and really appreciate the awesome production & sound quality. I also generally prefer a natural matte or satin finish when the drum shells have a beautiful wood grain, so 👍to Evetts for that. :) Would love to get some real stick time on these next time I'm in Oz.

Certainly, is the one thing holding me back from getting an Evetts, they're just too beautiful and perfect to take out gigging! I'd feel so stressed about having them in bars and venues, with other people playing them, which often happens. I have another kit that does this now, but I'd want my dream kit to be there with me at every gig, not just hiding at home. Tearing my hair out trying to decide between this and a Sonor Vintage.

12 13 16 22 is "standard," 10 12 14 20 is "fusion" and 10 12 16 22 is "new fusion." That's how dealers like Sweetwater distinguish them. Also it's unlikely that they will do another review on a kit that they've already done, and their other videos have shown other higher quality cymbals. SBr is an entry level cymbal designed for beginner players.
