$1600 for just the case? I mean it is beautiful but I was expecting half that at the most.
@akumarus2 жыл бұрын
yup. I would have purchased if it were even 500$. but yeah, i understand the materials and innovation involved in design and making, but 1500 is completely out of my reach

$1600 for a glorified test bench frame when EVGA has the 3090ti priced at $1500. No fuckin' way can I justify that in a budget,and I already got the 3090ti.

According to the EVGA webpage, this is supposed to come with a free $800 pelican shipping case. Why would it not be inside that, when you unbox it?
@tank2g22 жыл бұрын
This is the $1600 setup; you'll only get the pelican case if you buy the barebones kit, which is $5000 and comes with a z690 motherboard, an RTX 3090TI, and a 1600W psu pre-installed.
@dirtyvinyl88172 жыл бұрын
"free" pelican case, yeaah they are totally not marking up the computer case to make up for the "free" stuff...

Looks amazing. So over the top custom and built to order to boot, I understand the cost is super out there. With the decision to drop graphics card production, I hope EVGA picks up case building. It would be nice to see some more unique case designs like this in the case market. I just hope whatever you come up with you have some designs that starts in the $200 range so I can afford it. Good luck to EVGA as you (E)xit (VGA) .

What's the point of an open case if one of the two radiator mounts is limited by thickness. Looking at the pictures on the site, if you wanted a 60mm rad in the front, it will conflict with a GPU. Also limited to 360mm. So many better options if you are spending that much for a boutique open frame chassis.
@5n0w552 жыл бұрын
if you need more you could always use an external rad setup
@christianhaase11812 жыл бұрын
Cool looking case, but even being someone who likes getting over priced nonsense for builds, this just isn't worth 1.6k. Not even close. Unfortunate really, I was really considering giving this a shot if it had made sense price wise. 900-1k would have been high but acceptable. But not 1.6k Thanks EVGA for saving me the time I'd have spent trying to figure out how to protect this build from my cat.

$1600? Now I just now heard of this & watched the video. Had me interested until I saw the price. 1. If anyone wants to pimp it out.....how? LEDs lol. Cause that is still what I would try to do anyways. 2. I'd would then have to figure a way to protect the components from the dangers of the world like....... Cat's & dogs.... shoot even kids. So I would spend more money on something to build to do that. Yeah I know it kind of defeats the purpose of this case right but the 2 Cats in this house? Would be all over this thing. Very nosy they are & playful. Someone said $900 to $1000 they would consider but uh..... NO. Not even that sorry. More like around $500. It's new so you know. Don't argue this one either. I'm sure someone will point out the analog gauges. Whoever that is.... dude... they are analog. So what... a digital screen... programmable to maybe put whatever effects you want.... sure that would be nice. Now that would make it more worth the price. (As you can see this thing gives me ideas to try out but not gonna kick out $1600 to do it.)
