Love the design on the Z20 keyboard. For the price point, the features and controls are outstanding. Couple of minor critisisms though: - The overall construction is very good and premium, but for some reason the keys themselves have a cheap feel to them- like the plastic is too thin. - The ToF sensor is a cool idea to wake the keyboard up, but I do notice it tends to get clogged with dust/debris that interferes with it's operation. I have to clean out the little hole in it every few weeks. Again, these are minor issues that could be addressed in future models. Nice work EVGA!

Brough one off Amazon for $65 and the build quality is subpar. The 3 key is sticky and the right shift key arrived loose and not secured with the stabilizer. The key itself is broken somehow. Every other large key on the keyboard secures just fine on the right shift stabilizers except it's own keycap.

The Z-15 appears to have hot swappable switches. Anyone know if you can swap the optical switches on the z20?

As in you want it to become wireless? I never knew this was a feature wanted in keyboards until I saw this comment. I definitely can see people liking it for if they are on the go, or want it wireless for an ultra-clean setup.

@@KC-bg1th Not necessarily wireless but you basically any modern high end mechanical keyboard it's going to have a removable cable. Right now if I need to move my keyboard to clean the desk or something it's a giant pain in the ass due to the cable management (cables are routed through grommet in the desk and then wired under the desktop) A removable USB cable makes this a non issue, when I need the space or to clean, just unplug the keyboard. Wireless would also solve this issue but they come with their own problems as well.

@@Kirinketsu_ Probably not from the likes of Corsair, Razer, Logitech, but from non gaming brands that make mechanical keyboards you will find detachable cables. Ducky One 2 for example.

The evga z20 is a awful defective keyboard. It is manufacturer defective and all evga does is tell you to RMA then send out out another one that will do the same thing within a week. This keyboard regularly disconnects itself or out right turns itself off requiting the USB to be unplugged then plugged back in to get the keyboard to work again. I have noticed with mine (3rd RMA) it does this more often the faster i type. While typing this comment the keyboard has already done this twice.

FINALLY im so SICK of 60% boards, if you play real games and not just FPS cash grabs like cod and fortnite your out of luck, MSFS is unplayable without a numpad as is fivem and many other games, just scrubbing youtube videos with a 60% requires 2 button presses (fn+a or d) as opposed to just the arrow keys, a company that doesnt give into the passing 60% fad will get my money

@Xiaomi Redmi clicky. Its build quality is sooo good. Almost as good as corsair $100~ keyboard. But the extra keys on the left side are so annoying. I just removed the keycaps from the extra keys. It looks weird but im enjoying the keyboard without getting annoyed
