hi hello annyeong I disagree, Yuzuru technique is even better than Nathans between the entries and rotations is superior. However, Nathans technical score is higher because he’s doing more jumps even attempting 6 quads . Yuzurus technique is more quality vs Nathan’s quantity in technique.

As much as I’d love to see Yuzuru win a third Olympic gold I won’t have any expectations until the season rolls around. 4 years can mean a lot of changes to a skater, and TOUCHWOOD who knows what horrible injuries could happen along the way. Yeah but i think that was when he was badly injured and just won 2018 Olympics. He did say that he felt satisfied and so far the only goal his aiming is the quad axel so we might see him again in the competition. I just hope he takes care of himself and fully recovers before attempting those difficult transitions and jumps. I actually enjoy watching him more if its not a competition like in the gala or in fantasy on ice.

@@atlantis315 actually, a lot of people believe he has good chances of the gold medal in Beijing:) yuzuru’s comeback at japan nationals was practically flawless. without injuries and somewhat fair scoring, he could probably win again. we need to remember that yuzuru was on painkillers and did not use 100% of his skating skills in pyeongchang, but he can go all the way out with no worries in 2022. in my opinion, he might even try the quad axel in his programs. let’s just wish for yuzuru’s health for now, that’s the most important thing in sports.

@@xxXmmxx yes it’s true that nathan is much more consistent than yuzuru this season. however, you should consider the fact that yuzu has been trying the 4A nonstop this year because that’s his number 1 goal atm. of course it’s going to affect his body and the balance in other jumps, and yuzuru is well aware of that. it shows how much he cares about landing the 4A, and as a fellow athlete im impressed by yuzu’s dedication for this sport. i believe that he still has big chances to win at beijing if his 4A is incorporated into the programs, but as fans we need to respect a skater’s determination and desired accomplishments, even if it isn’t a gold medal.
