Listening to this interview makes me realize what a sweet, honest and smart girl she is, and how much injustified hate she always gets for nothing. People love to create drama around her all the time, but she's just a normal girl doing her best to grow up and develop as a person and athlete. I'm kinda happy she moved out of Russia where she seemed to have too much weight on her shoulders. Maybe missing olympic gold this time was the best that could happen to her. She will come back stronger, more confident and happier for the next olympics. Like she said, she used to have only one main goal in the past and now she has small goals everyday that will lead her to the biggest ones. I'm happy to see her growth and I wish her the best.

Such a commendable young lady she is. Being so young with multiple achievements, yet she took a brave new start. Amazing how she can withstand all the eyes looking at her - both those who support her and those who reject her. Evgenia did the right thing when she chose to switch to a new coach. Anyone who feels stuck in an environment that doesn't help them grow and continue being productive, free and creative should absolutely move on to something new. I know that one's comfort zone is hard to get over and that the changes always feel like a risk, but taking this risk is the only way of feeling better, to begin with. I wish Evgenia the best, I know she has things to correct and the style she does now is different from her past programs, but she's determined and strong and she'll grow even stronger. Greetings and love from Greece.

Well I really love any Support Evgenia for her personality..... She made a brave decision to change coaches coz she followed her heart.... She knows she has flaws and wants to rectify them, she wants to enjoy skating and want to make small accomplishments instead of always skating for a big achievement or big goal.... She is happy now although she knows it'll take time to come back to her form and attain perfection..... She's so kind to have appreciated Javi.... Also the fact that she considers all the skaters at Brian's academy as her family, means that she is more comfortable with her new environment and routine..... Let's give Zhenya the time she needs ... She is a lady with a lot of achievements, let her enjoy the sport and not criticize her constantly..... I'm sure Brian and Evgenia will work really hard and she'll try her best to clinch the Gold at the finals.... Kudos to her improved English ..... I'm sure her skating will improve as her English has improved Love Zhenya 💙💙♥️💙💙

I had mixed feelings for Evgenia, I like her, in fact I knew of her from these last Olympics where I loved her skating as well as Alina's, so I became a fan of both. But after the chaos created by the final results in the Olympics, with everything I saw and heard about it I kind of started to dislike her, but with this interview and watching videos of Zhenya since 2015 when she started seniors until this last ACI now I completely changed my perception and now I understand why many love her! She really is a lovely girl, very sweet, she has a unique personality that sets her apart from other skaters. She enjoys skating, is very hardworking and in spite of those high scores (which many have complained abou) she has talent and revolutionized Ice Skating. In the end it's not her fault she works hard on the ice doing the best she can, obeys her coaches. Watching her programs and the kiss & cry with her ex-coaches, it was clear that there was happiness between them and now I understand and sympathize with her and even with Eteri because I know that for both of them it must have been very difficult that their plans did not come out as they wanted. 😪 Recalling that day of the Olympics where everything was defined I wanted to cry, I put myself in the place of Evgenia and I could imagine the pain she must have felt not to achieve that last most important triumph... After all those records, being #1, the arrival of a strong new girl before the Olympics (who isn't guilty as well she also did the best she could) must have been very hard. After that it was obvious that she wanted to make changes, I would have done the same! Only that process did not go well either and that's why all the scandal. But we have to understand that when those kind of things happen in the end nobody is guilty, we are humans. Also the media and people love to make drama and rumors ... In the end everything happens for a reason and new cycles start ... I wish the best to Evgenia, from the bottom of my heart I really want her to win gold at Beijin 2022! ! 🏅 And hopefully in the future, she and her excoach be in good terms... and continue with that joy and personality that characterizes her. 🤩 Go Zhenya !!!

I really love Evegenia, and this interviewer was great! He asked her good questions. She does need to change her programs though, neither of them suited her at all. She wasn't nearly as expressive, the music was awful and not something the crowd could get into, and she was definitely not pushing herself. Maybe she's more comfortable now mentally, which is a great thing for her, but there is something to be said for being competitive and the drive it gives you. I'm not sure she should be skating for Russia when Russians train so hard and are always doing more more more. Also I thought her costumes for her programs were actually really lovely, not sure why she wants to change them!
