It's beautiful to see how the condutor and the orchestra are so enthoused about Kissin's interpretation. He is the nec plus ultra of the pianists.

Yes I love the pianist Evgeny Kissin ..... but I have discovered also Khatia Buniatisvili, and Hélènene Grimaud who has writen 3 books : Variations sauvages - Leçons particulires - Retour à Salem. Read them !

I remember going to a concert given by Duchable and for the "encore" decided to (re)play the 3rd movement of Beethoven's 3rd piano concert (which was in the program along with the 5th concerto). Its a shame (IMO) that not more artists decides to involve the orchestra in the "encores"....after all they always make a hell of a performance in many cases.....
