I think black hardware looks good in a lot of situations, but I'm into heavier music, so I might be biased. Love it on Charvels. Especially So Cals

Where did you buy it? this is my favorite of the guitar color choices for the Special model since I want a maple neck, I own the original amber Music Man EVH signature model and a Fender EVH red and black pattern of the Frankenstein, this guitar color looks beautiful, love the quilted paint job!

I just took deliver of mine today. There is a cutout under the dtuna that I’ve never seen on an evh before. Does yours have that?

Chrome hardware always looks better on a transparent finished guitar.Black hardware looks cheap,and should only be installed on cheaper base solid colored models.You'll never see Black hardware on a Gibson Les Paul or PRS guitar.
