I haven’t really played since back when they had just replaced zombies with the red bears and wolves, which was A LONG ASS time ago. The community was a whole lot more friendly back then in my experience. Raiding was still a big part of the game of course, but there was a lot less kos. Had a whole server come together one time and pool our resources to make a public trading/survival hall. We kept it stocked with emergency rations, basic weapons, ammo, and healing items for people to use if they died. All we asked in return for the items, if taken, was that you leave a note telling us what you took, so that we could restock it. In the whole time I played on that server (like 3.5 weeks) it was never raided or damaged. It was like 20+ people that worked on/stocked it. All of us were in voice chat just hamming it up while building it lmao. The whole thing was incredible for my 14 year old self. Great memories
