Hey Alex! Great video as usual, though I am very sorry to hear you had to deal with such a painful situation. On my end I remember when the war started, I had to leave the place I was paying rent for as a tenant, but there wasn't any drama between me and the landlords, it was all very smooth and we came to a mutual understanding very quickly. It is a shame that your situation wasn't as smooth. I must say that is quite the cozy little apartment, would be perfect for my needs probably if I were to one day put my foot in the door of Greenland 😁. I am still hoping to potentially make a trip to Nuuk sometime in the next year or two ! Much respect from me as usual, keep up the great work, and I hope the pain from this experience doesn't stick with you for long. Can't wait till the next video!

Are cigars allowed in the balcony? Here it is not allowed to smoke on the balcony. The apartment looks completely rentable - those minor scratches do not deserve even fixing. It is normal to have some scratches here and there. 🙂 I would not call the view cool though - looks relatively industrial.

In France, you might a tenant living there for months or a year or two before being able to evict them

Why do you evict people for a domestic? Not that is wrong, but here in England no one of the authorities gives a shit, Otherwise one would have to evict half of the country :-). My next door neighbour, a veritable mess of a woman (?), created constant problems because of her shitty character, promiscuity and alcoholism, neglected her three small children in a horrific way, stabbed her boyfriend, was not paying rent, yet was never evicted. She was told to go only when she crashed her car, drunk, in front of a house that belonged to the "rich folks" belt of the area. The UK in a nutshell for you. Great videos, by the way. Nuuk is so beautiful it hurts....

I thought that was a little odd, too. Seems like a bit too much government/burocratic involvement to me. Then again, I'm an American & we don't even like our own government.
