I'm all for helping people in unfortunate situations. However, when my well meaning landlord reluctantly allowed section 8 into the once peaceful apartment complex I live in. All hell broke loose. The section 8 tenants wreaked havoc on the building, arguing, fighting, throwing trash out the 4th floor window because they didn't want to walk to the dumpster. Breaking in the mailboxes stole my ID, using my dental insurance. Partying into the late night, weed smoking, stinking up the hallways. Hanging out loitering in front of the building smoking. Of course stealing the Fed Ex and Amazon deleiveries. Moving in their chaotic girlfriends boyfriends, arguing cussing. Today they just burned up food cooking, set off the fire alarms, flushed out the tenants, fire dept came to the apartment and the Secrion 8 tenant hollered at the firefighter lying claiming it wasn't him!! 2 yrs ago a tenant set the building on fire, burned up my apartment and 5 other apartments. Of course it wasnt their fault.

Is a matter of fact one or two kids were 10 and 12 she had another baby which had it on the 18th of free rent. So I'm glad this is happening she has to get her ass out and work I'm sick of paying for her even though she's my cousin. Bad choices but her mother was a woman of the streets. Having a family with two incomes even if one is part time while the children are small is the best way to secure the future and ability to create generational wealth. Even if it’s small it’s better than the current situation where children are their retirement plan which is not the way. The current system does not work.
