In the book of Enoch the giants were almost 1 mile tall, and they all killed each other off...none of which i believe. Genesis talks about the sons of god tating the daughters of men......then says "there were giants in the land in those days," (like at the same time) then goes on to explain that they were "men of renoun." BTW, on the subject of Giants on this planet, there are countless finds that are recorded in history, newspaper articles and photos. The Smithsonian even wrote an article in the early 20th Century, Smithsonian Magazine. They avoid the subject today after a Curator that ran the Smithsonian had a reported difference to it circa appx 1930's and the trend continued. On a general foundation, usíng the known and available finds of the earlier giant animals , birds, reptiles, vegatation, trees, etc, it would be logical that the human species of that era were relative to the *environmental conditions.* There has been more than 1 homonid species on the planets and at the same time, findings through genetics, DNA and fossil/bones. These include at least 4 and variations. Denevocians, Cromagnon, Homosapiens, Neanderthal, etc. The Wendover, NV finds and the Native Americans of Nevada are but 1 of several Native American Cultures that hold the history of this subject. There were specimens and they were on view at Museums and Public Sites in the USA, some photos exist, but all have been removed. Noteworthy is the repeated accounts of finds, often by farmers and during Mound Excavations that were sent to the Smithsonian for study and each of these have: "Specimens are lost, gone missing, can't be found." This the common reference: "The Black Hole of the Smithsonian" They have lost credibility in the minds of many whom research this and other Archaeologolocial subjects. The present time reflects a vast number including: Professionals, Academics, PhD's, Rsearchers, that have independently and through team efforts, proven the inaccuracies of a number of Mainstream Subjects, and these include: The date of the Orgin often Sphynx Robert Schoch, PhD, GeoPhysicist (Graduate of Yale) and current Professor, dates the Sphynx at appx 11,000 to 18,000 years old. After countless examples of a variation of Archaeology subjects I've run across in my own research of various History subjects, *I propose that there must be a particular fundamental purpose for Mainstream Academics ignoring the finds and presenting resistance to considering the finds and allowing for consideration of same.* My particular point that underlies this hypothesis is the Mainstream Science that established the "All out of Africa Theory" that was repeated so often it was accepted as truth and recently a DNA research project that included finds from Western Africa, resulted in the clear proof the theory was not accurate. There's so many inaccuracies and errors in this comment I don't know where to start. There is actually zero evidence for giants beyond the occasional very tall person we have today that result from a tumour on the pituitary gland. Cro-Magnon and Homo sapiens are the same species, the former is just an archaic European population of our species. The extinct human species you mentioned is spelled 'Denisovans.' And certain animals were larger in the past because they filled megafaunal niches that humans and climate likely eliminated everywhere but in Africa and South Asia because those are the regions in which other species had time to adapt to a human presence, not because everything was simply bigger, and we have a wealth of fossils that demonstrate humans were around our size or shorter going back to the beginning of the genus. I just chose those errors more or less at random, but there are many more.

Yes. Hebron was a city of giants. Numbers 13:33 says, "we seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we look the same to them". Amos 2:9 says the Amorites were tall like cedars (15-30 feet?) and strong as the oaks. And Goliah and his brothers, 1 Samuel 17: 4-7; 2 Samuel 21:15-22 (I can imagine the rest of the family!). In South Africa there is a farm that forms part of Percy Fife, a nature reserve where there are giaga tic perfectly round balls in the top of a mountain, arranged as if it represents the solar system. One ball rolled down laying at the foot of this mountain. It is a sight to be seen. How did it get to the top? Must have been giants who rolled or pulled them up there in a neat row. Giants are the only logical explanation for the existence of all the megalithic stone structures around the world built in ancient times. Think Hard after exhausting any other possibility available in ancient times, giants are the only thing that holds any water , now how the mega stones were softened and molded to fit the way they do perfectly is another question no reasonable ideas have been presented for to date, but how they were transported, especially up rugged mountains and then put into place in their apparently softened states is an even greater mystery. Many quarry sites show no tool/chisel marks,instead look as if the stone was soft butter sliced out with a hot knife. Can't begin to try to imagine how it was done in those times, only know the evidence is all around us and will remain for thousands of more years.

It is true that "giants" is a bad translation in Genesis 6, that does not change the fact that there were really tall people in the Bible that can rightly be called "giants." In 2 Sam. 21:20 we have it clearly indicated that a man of "great stature" is mentioned. Some were also called "Nephalim," and others "Raphaim."

The Mtdna is supposed to go back thru the maternal lineage & I don't know any males in my Mom's family who've tested, however, my son & my maternal aunt both show some black ancestry, as does a female cousin who's dad was the brother of this aunt & my mom. Their brother, a blond light-eyed guy, like his Grandad, was said to have had 6 toes & their grandmother was a huge, big-boned woman of unknown origin who had black hair & eyes. These people I figure to be brain damaged as they ignore the following text describing the weight of his weapons and armor (which don't change) A 6'9 250lb man absolutely isn't weilding a spear with 15lb head, nor donning 150lbs of scale armor. A full medieval harness of plate armor including arms and legs only averaged 55lbs. For a nearly 10ft 500lb man, the weight of these implements are reasonable

Yes. The neanderthal people also had a kingdom. Gen 6 also talks about men of renown. What is a man of renown? A hero right. What Halfbreeds hero comes to mind? Hercules. Right.
