All regions have an investment limit; this is why you were getting extremely small properties to buy. The real estate and lumber yard you bought early took up most of the limit I believe. Regions can be individually upgraded and you can increase the limits and efficiencies of each. Also don’t be afraid to buy a property you don’t want if it’s the only option; you can sell it immediately for a small profit provided the region isn’t at war. Hope this helps!

Skye, get ur quest rewards at the book bottom left corner ^^ and if u buy same investment in same region, it adds up. for example: if u have a fur farm worth 2k in country xy and buy a fur farm worth 2k there, u wont have 2 fur farms worth 2k each, u will have 1 fur farm worth 4k! and btw... Luxury and industries are the best, farms are the worst I think, and houses are only good for steady income (I get rent from my houses worth my outcome about, not much more).

the best part of this game is that you can go to the exchange and sell all your foodstuffs, in the exchange for more money you can buy property

I like the look of this game a lot, definitely interested in seeing more. Seems like early game it's a little bit of a grind (click loans, click properties, yawn, next turn), but i imagine it gets more complicated the longer it goes.

Developed by a Czech Jan Zeleny, who worked on Mafia previously, for experience reference. Spent years on development single handed and slightly expanded team to help lately. The game is beautiful.

It does seem like a good fairly in depth game that usually I would like to play, though I don't go for the 'war' type games. When playing civ (single player) games I would always try to be neutral or friendly with everyone as I hate fighting. Since this game seems very dependant on war and trying to be the bigger bully, I can't see a way past that for me to enjoy the game enough. I will play vicariously through your gameplay Skye.

First impressions: this is a grand strategy game that teaches you to be a World Bank. How does science link with economics? Since when is a bank diplomatic?
