@@jasonprete3165 Partly fake, the real cabin interior was filmed in a abandoned high school gym. This is what they used for the exterior shots. Really cool that it’s (I assume so anyway) still standing after all this time, especially considering what happened to the original cabin from the first film. Edit: Sadly no longer standing, hasn’t been for some time. Unfortunate, but at least someone saved the workshed.

Of all the movie sets in the world and film locations. I've noticed by far evil dead is the most popular film series. There's been a lot of people visiting,morristown Tennessee and wadesboro North Carolina. What started out as 3 college guys filming a movie. Became a world wide fan base. Sam raimi,Bruce Campbell,Robert tapert. These movies made Bruce popular. Even the next generation of kids is visiting the film locations. I was going to gatlinberg Tennessee on a summer vacation last year. When I saw the sign for morristown, Tennessee. On a big billboard. I was like. I didn't know gatlinburg was close to morristown. Makes me want to go visit it. Sometime

This is real it's not a set it's just a empty shell of the cabin for some of the real outside daylight shots. When Ash wakes up in the mud and the camera moves around him outside in the woods and he looks at the cabin and hears the voice say "Join us" This is the filming location for that shot and this was the empty shell of the cabin he was looking at!

Exactly after 30 years , this was shooten , still the cabin exists there . But the Evil dead 1981 is more than 40 years but the cabin was not found to be there .

Billy Horn he didn’t revisit the cabin. They didn’t have the rights to show footage from the first movie so they just filmed a new recap at the start. Evil Dead 2 follows on from the end of The Evil Dead at the point of which Ash is picked up and forced through the woods by the evil force.

Aqui fizeram algumas cenas, e também em Wadesboro num local lá que seria uma quadra de basquete coberta, isso na Carolina do Norte, mas a cabana real mesmo ficava em Inman Bend road, em Morristown noTennessee dentro de uma floresta. As únicas coisas que sobraram lá foram a lareira e chaminé e que aliás vinha diminuindo de tamanho porque o pessoal entram lá no local e vão arrancando os tijolos pra levar pra casa, e o buraco do porão.

This was only used for exterior shots in Evil Dead 2, most of the interior shots were a set built in a NC high school gym. I know the cabin from the 1st movie burned down and I think this has been demolished now as well. But with theway this cabin is warped and disfigured in this video, I cannot really tell if this was the exact cabin from the ED2 scene where the eyes appear over the windows and say "JOIN US.", but it appears similar.
