Little easter egg to Evil Dead 2 you wouldn't have noticed. The pizza company the kids got pizza from is called Henrietta's. Henrietta was the name of the deadite in the fruit cellar in ED 2

This movie said there are three different books of the Dead so this movie canonize all version of Evil Dead the original trilogy the 2013 remake and this movie and Evil Dead rise. You should really check out Ash vs. Evil Dead a continuation of the original trilogy.
