‘Evil’ Florida Man Accused of Killing Family of Four, Burning Their Remains in Fire Pit

A Florida family of four vanished after visiting a friend in Hudson on June 12. Now, that friend is accused of murdering them and burning their remains in a fire pit. Rain Mancini, Phillip Zilliot II, Karma Zilliot & Phillip Zilliot III seemingly vanished after the mother and father argued with Atwood while drinking. Atwood allegedly called a friend the next day and said he shot someone. Based on that report, authorities searched Atwood's property, but no evidence was found. When the sheriff’s office searched the property again, they allegedly found human remains in his fire pit.

This case is sad. I used to live in the town where it happened. On the 15th, LE found remains and did a press conference. Family members of posted in a group that day or the next that the father was able to be identified, but they had come to collect DNA to identify the rest of the family. My suspicion is that the father's body wasn't as severely damaged, but LE is still going to want to do DNA to prove it. Though, it could be that Rory admitted initially to the father's murder. Regardless of what happened that night, Rory is wrong for killing those kids. They were innocent in all of this.
