Little question, how did you make sand of time work. In my game this item works only on one table. And it "started" working without any reason after some time. I was trying to put it next to the generators, no effect as well

It works in mysterious ways :D I've noticed at the start it worked only for 1 table as well for me, but I guess the effect wears off slower than new 'buff' appears, which then just in long gameplay will eventually end up buffing more and more items around. That is my wild guess :)

Side missions are cool, but main mission locks your research progress at level 2 FOREVER (almost, might depend on boss). So basically 90% of your game time you will spend having level 2 research max.

Well 90% of a time a is a bit exaggerated, but yea, a lot of time will be spent locked to 2nd research level. Would be better to somehow even that out - even by locking a bit longer the same level 1 maybe? And jump from 3rd to 4th is also super fast.. My main reason here is - I've seen some henchman side missions gone if I push further main mission. There are some weird/unknown link between mission progress/henchman missions and how you can (or cannot) acquire them.

Dude, that is continent of South America, Brazil is country on that continent! What is wrong with you, its like elementary school knowledge :D. Heh, I know I messed up continent, region, area and all that, but from other hand I hate to use South America, as that gives even more feeling like everything evolves around U.S. (the country) so I specifically picked something (anything) else from the South Afrika to name it :D And I did poorly as it came out as failed geographic analphabet :D Thank you so much for the comment and pointing this out ;)
