I don’t think anything is “proven” over here. With NRG (second seed from NA with more international experience) losing twice against BLG (second seed with minimal to no international experience) on the biggest stage of the year. It’s more like, exciting matches for champions. Edit: Statistically speaking, when it comes to champions tourney, South America and EU has had more success than NA. Just an FYI.

Your reasoning of NRG being weak just because they lost while overlooking the fact that they have had a playoff run wins for over 671 days before losing to BLG is a live proof of how anything can happen. Than saying one region is better than the other. In that sense, South America and EU are far better than NA since they’ve made far more appearances in the champions finals compared to NA who choked out in the playoff stages for the last two years.
