I also enjoyed that statement, the timing was perfect and it worked well for him. She started realizing this was truly her last opportunity to try to lie her way out of it, and started giving more details. Which, he also pointed that out, that he’s noticed people that aren’t being truthful are only worried about the today, getting home, and not worried about the rest of their lives. I really liked this detective’s strategies.

Humans never fail to amaze me of how evil they can be. They both deserve life without parole. Not only did they murder her, they hid her from family, which must have been horrendous, not knowing where she was. They deprived her a proper funeral. That’s not to mention, she had a child, not knowing where her mother was. Then this creature had the audacity to worry about her own children. Great role model. Even if they didn’t put her in a freezer they would have been caught or the main suspects. Without a body it makes a case more difficult, but there were 4 people involved in dismemberment and disposal so the chances of one of them cracking is very high. Aside from that they were using all Shannon’s stuff her home, car, her dog, credit card, ebt. Katrina basically stepped into Shannon’s life, so there is a lot of evidence pointing to them. And Katrina is an idiot who didn’t care about her kids or her freedom. She did all this to keep her bum bf. she let her obsessive jealousy of Shannon get the best of her.

One of the women involved in the dismemberment only got 2 years. I haven’t been able to find the details of the original deal but I’m glad they threw it out and she got longer. Her confident and even cocky tone and bold speaking style and Miss Independent personality and attitude where she brazenly told the cops SHE didn't need ANYTHING from a MAN and SUPPORTED HERSELF completly "offsets" her demeanor here. "How do I get out of this?" Apparently they don't take "food cards" for bail payments and her $10 per hour job where she worked HARD didn't create enough independent wealth and financial assets and personal property with collateral value for a bail bond AND a paid defense attorney to get her "out of this". Or maybe there are no female defense attorneys in that state and she's not about to need anything ELSE from no man.

@@simdal3088 it is. The judge was a man, and male judges, statistically, are way more lenient on female defendants. Why? Because they think women are all super similar. We're all nice and gentle and motherly and easily manipulated. We're all just a little less smart than men. I'm equally outraged that you will see news stoogies sending out the message that its such a tough sentence. Folks, we are no longer a serious country. 😞😡

orrrrrrrrr maybe you react to EVERY breaking news story in a country with 330 million people, because everything is caught on camera and uploaded or reported on more now than ever. MAN...... can you imagine that in ANY other time? pillaging villages caught on camera, social media during lynchings, hangings and guillotines livestreamed........ the world we live in today..... where when people log off of social, they aren't affected by 95% of what they comment about and react to in their day to day lives.
@Kristine_202
@Kristine_202 5 ай бұрын
What are you talking about? "We now live in a world?" Plea deals have existed for decades. Also, the American justice system is hard on murderers. People who commit first degree murder often receive life without parole or the death penalty. Other countries are the ones that consider 20 years to be a life sentence. The woman in this video is disgusting, but she didn't actually kill anyone. The one who committed the murder got almost 50 years and will most likely die in prison. (And if he does get out, he'll be in his 80s.) I find it ironic that a conservative is complaining that we no longer live in a serious country. You're the ones who keep electing circus clowns.

Thank you for uploading parts 1 and 2 of this fascinating interrogation. Even after this lengthy interrogation she still refused to give up her POS boyfriend, despite whining about wanting to get home with her kids. She criticized the victim for being a trashy stripper, and yet, she depended on food stamps and dated an unemployed ex-con/murderer. So sad when peoples' lack of insight into themselves leads them down such a bad path. The detective in this case rocks. Even though she did not confess, he did an amazing job.
