Redemption is done not just through the character’s realisation of their misguided path, but also through an act or acts that brings them on to the journey of redemption allowing them to become good. What did Evilyn do to redeem herself? Because stopping her desire to destroy everything isn’t a redeeming act.

I think writers really misunderstood Darth Vader’s redemption, he was a brutal monster for years but only through Luke’s belief in him he saved the rebellion and Galaxy by killing the Emperor and be Anakin again… in the afterlife. He had to die… otherwise he would’ve been executed by the New Republic, because Vader was still a mass murdering criminal. Only Luke forgave Vader, not the entire Galaxy that would’ve been stupid if that was the case.

Welcome to the literary difference between redemption and reformation. Reformation is showing a character what they are doing is wrong/evil and convincing them to stop, and to try and find a better path. Redemption is them internalizing that path and starting to do things to not only make up for whatever wrongs they committed, but to genuinely add more good as well.

The show definitely leaned heavily towards religious forgiveness. Evelyn falls in despair once she sees the representation of their God be killed. She has suffered a religious wound and it's by Teela showing her that their God keeps existing in them all, that Evelyn comes out of the darkness. Now, I'm of two minds. Either God's forgiveness is big and so, Evelyn was forgiven because of that. Or.... Evelyn is just a mortal that thought that she could destroy a plane of existence but like her wrongful assumption about God's fate, she has just a misguided belief about what happened and Pre-Eternia is fine and keeps existing.

It is an extremely common trope for both heroes and villains in all media from film to gaming to increase in stature and body mass after gaining any sort of "power up" and has nothing to do with feminism. This has been true since Super Mario. It is also a main trope for the "big bad" main villain of anything to appear physically larger than the good guys to make them more intimidating to audiences. These are tropes. Another example of a trope is where a villain who was previously a threat to an entire group of good guys suddenly becomes less powerful after turning good to be on par with other good guys -- like DBZ's Piccolo and Vegeta. These are all tropes. Assigning Evil Lyn's muscles to feminism is rather braindead when you look at in those terms. It's just a trope. Calm down and stop looking for problems.

Eternia is a highly magical place, with an energy so powerful that reality on itself could be bend. My guess is that something/someone created Preternia as a place where heroes could chill. Evelyn destroyed that place, like she could destroy a sand castle. She erroneously thought she could kill those in Preternia again, like she believed the Goddess was killed on the origin. But at the end, the Goddess resurged, so, I think the dead are as fine as dead people can be, they just lost their second chance to come back to life.

Power levels in this show are on some hard drugs... nothing really makes sense. First you got He-Man and Skeletor being more or less equals. He-Man usually comes on top but here Skeletor manages to come on top and turn into Skely-God (previous series). So a being much much more powerful than normal Skeletor right? So by default much more powerful than He-Man. Then we got Hulk He-Man, who is pounding Skelly God and seems to be superior in brure force and speed at least (shouldn't Skelly be able to just ... dezintigrate He-Man anyway at this point? ). Then we got some yadda yadda yadda and Evil Lynn becomes an Evil Sorceress Lynn... who is no match for Skelly god still. Then she becomes an Evil god Sorceress Abby from TLoU2, and mops the floor with normal Skeletor. (This part feels right). I'll omit the preposterous notion that Sorceress Teela thinks she can defeat Super god Sorceress Lynn... as that makes no sense. Then we got He-Man and Skelly god...pictured as equals in power...sort of??? And of course...in the end, Sorceress teela somehow manages to exchange blows with god Sorceress Lynn (how? She would be at least 1 league below here, nevermind the whole planetary alignment boost or whatever...). Then, as a cherry on top... at some point we got Super godess Sorceress Lynn ...catching some hands from comedy relief Orco. 🔥🔥🔥💪. Wow.

The only way I see it, and its a stretch, is that the power of grayskull and the normal powers that Skeletor uses (hordak's teachings) is not compatible so he can only draw on one power source at a time not both. So Skeletor is working with a new power set and using it unoptimally while He-Man in savage form and in prime form is just better suited to using it in brute force on instinct. But for the others I have no idea.
