Great video the only a I disagree is shadow shadow in evil rp is one commander that everyone runs i think he is the best t2 commander and desrves s tier

I second that. Especially since we do have the DD meta and he surely stands out as pretty consistent damage dealer as well as white council clearer. As we got that support in S, then makes sense to put a DD up there for previously mentioned reasons, even if he is only T2

I was close to doing so, he certainly is a great choice. However I want to keep the S tier specifically for commanders that are miles above everything else, and fairly unique in this sense, and that their role couldn’t be done effectively by any other commander. In my opinion, Cestaro can also serve as an effective WC clearer with high damage also, so that’s the only thing keeping Shadow off S tier. It should be said that A tier is still for exceptional commanders! Thank you for your feedback 😁

Agzok higher and i think shadow should go to S tier due to white council taken out quickly by him.Still good video

Thanks Kasz. I did debate Agzok, but until they rework respect on T1s I think it’s too limiting as far as what you get for your money Vs T3 commanders. That’s the only thing holding him back currently, he does have great potential!

I think Shadow is ahead of Lurtz because of that WC counter but disagree about S. Unfortunately, when comparing it with the offerings in Good, Shadow is a poor man's Beorn.

Mumakil damage reduction skill on black serpent was horribly nerfed - now effectively reduces damage dealt to teammates by -6%. Undying r5 max for heal + bottom r0 max for evade + r3 for stun is deadly in PVE. Still determining if evade or heal works better for me in PVP, because his heals can be insanely high by himself with the moderate gear I’ve used on him. He also starts with a decent base command, so if you were to build him right he can be an effective “brawler” commander that will take hits and dish out damage in PVP. His max refine unique is also very interesting, although it will interfere with other comms madness (I.e. sauron pre-battle steals). So unless he’s at least refined to 20% madness chance, probably not worth putting on when using sauron. You can build Lathar the same way as any other DD and he’ll drop better damage than Khamul or Agzok. As a bonus it is early damage, so great for 1 unit attacks like all the other Ringwraith comms. If using vanguards, or other high damage units, as your troops on other comms, his r5 starts coming into play to some effect. Zegrid can also hit similar damage to Khamul. With players starting to recognize the effectiveness of counters, probably will be seen more in niche builds to maximize his anti-horse bonus.

First off, thank you for your time watching and for the detailed feedback, it is much appreciated! My replies as follows: Just re-checked BS, thanks for that, agree. His other support toolbox is still decent however so don’t think their would shift his ranking. Agree undying is a PVE monster! Personally I would focus damage for PVP, remainder in evade. Lathar was one I debated. I have seen him used sparingly but seems to have a half decent toolbox. Not sure his maximum potential is as high as agzok though! Zegrid is too situational to be worth use or investment 😁

Zegrid is trash Dain is a better anti Cav commander than Zegrid and also Cestaro is better anti cav
