As a child I was constantly tormented by shadow beings. Interestingly enough I had similar nightmares about my mother along with constant other nightmares. I believe they were attracted by the turmoil and negative emotions stemming from my mother and fathers relationship issues. Scaring me was like dessert for them. Eventually my parents worked through their issues and we started attending church on a regular basis. Still I wasnt relieved of their presence until I was baptized.

@Jim-pw3wz the best way I can describe them is like a black hole in the shape of a 2 dimensional human silhouette. I had also witnessed a being the exact opposite of them. That appeared like a human silhouette but glowing like the inside of a metal foundry. I never encountered the hat man that people speak of. I've had various paranormal experiences throughout my life. I think they are lower demensional beings that feed off of negative human emotions. I also refer to them as antihumans.

I saw the Hatman as a teen, just standing in the corner of my room one night but that is not what I want to talk about now. About a year ago, I was working on my computer, when I saw the lower half of it materialize next to me...rather part of the coat it was wearing...it was made out of some type of shiny black material, thinly padded in a diagonal square pattern. As it happens I had recently downloaded my entire photo collection and a book I had written about all the time glitches and other weird phenomena I experienced in the months before and after 21/12 2012...also about my alien abductions and OBE experiences throughout my life...onto my new laptop...when next I checked...all gone.

Same but I was in my later 20s, a punched it and hit nothing but air, and it was gone but soon as I turned the lights off in tryed to go bk to sleep it was there again in corner of my room. I got up and light went on again and it was gone again, I stood at my window looking out at my garden and it was stood in middle of my larn just standing still. This thing didn't leave me along for hours everytime I shut my lights of and went bk to bed it was there in corner of my room. It never had hat on. I give up trying to get to sleep and stayed awake till it got light outside then went to sleep. I spoke to my mam about it and she mentioned when I was a baby she was going to bed and looked up the stairs and there was an old lady standing outside my bedroom door and she looked again and it was gone, all this and me coming across this video the smorning and yesterday my 7 year old son kepts going on about slenderman. Making drewing of him and even wanted a flash light to go up woods in look for him. I don't no what to make of all this now.

​@hectortheerector start with something little like sprinkle sea salt in each corner of your room. Cup of water with sea salt💧next to where you sleep or in the corner. Pray for your higher-ups and ancestors to watch, protect, & and guide u while holding it. Like pharmaceutical pills, you have to try different ways because you are born gifted, that is why you can see them. They might just want help to cross over, that's all. As for your 7 years old son, don't teach your child to be scared. I went hunting with my children because I know slinderman is not true. But before I enter the land, I offer tobacco and pour water. & always call upon them for protection & guide before entering. Letting them know I am not here to hurt them, just there to explore with my children. You don't have to do what I did but it went well for us & they had a blast.

I've tried the religious answer to this before, and at the time I had sound, and legitimate faith, and in the end, the resistance part was the key. It wasn't till the religious approach failed, and I resorted to rage and panic, that my desperate, and overwhelming resistance succeeded, and it went away. In the end, I feel will is the key. If that will is focused towards faith, or plain old pig headed stubborn resistance, it seems to get the job done, if the will is strong enough.

I had an episode with strange encounters at night and went to some religious men, who told me tho ones you see on the periphery are very powerless just pray into a glass of water every night specific prayers and I did and they leave. I did also take a stick prayed a prayer and sealed the doors with it- after that never happen again. I don't understand why the women in the video waited so long and did not pray at all- sometimes they attack me in my dreams and I strongly rebuke them and pray against them and always after that I wake up.

Wide brim hat, in my encounter was to hide face in shadow. He was predatorily chasing me in my dream in dark alley, and I was counting my steps to calculate when he’d be under street lamp, so I turn to catch his face in the light, but every time he turned his head slightly down and wide brim of his hat threw shadow on his face. I remember every thought I had trying to outsmart him and run away. I knew he had “serial killer” kind of goal, and I was his target. Eventually I outsmarted him- I ran to next street lamp, and tried to climb it, when suddenly I realized I could fly. I pushed myself up to the top of the lamp, and waited out quietly. The “shadow men” or whatever term may be used, is not part of my origin culture, so I chucked it up to my another one “I knew how to fly in my dream again”. There was plot to this dream, very realistic to the point that I couldn’t crack it as I sometimes do dim the middle of my dream I find mistakes like my room on wrong floor or my friend visits me who I know is in another country and can’t be physically here. When this happens, my brain switches me to another plot. And one more strange thing about my dream- someone posted KZbin video maybe a couple month after my dream, about strange light climbing down from lamp in parking lot (it was after sunset) and that little light was dancing across parking lot. In my dream, after I realized I fooled the shadow men, I glided down the pole, and hop-scotched rejoicing - it was my victory dance. Now it’s probably a coincidence and video probably debunked already but what a coincidence

It's not sleep paralysis or in my peripheral vision. I have seen shadow beings in front of my eyes in broad daylight while wide awake. I have never been afraid and I think that intrigues them. As a 7 yr old child one just stood in the doorway staring at me staring at it lol. I got up and closed the door on it and a minute later opened it again and it was still there. I backed away and just kept staring at it until it dissipated when my aunt put the key in the front door. I never bothered telling anyone bc I knew they would say it was my imagination. My sister started seeing them when she was an older teenager. Now my young son sees them and other figures. I tell him not to be afraid bc that's what they want. I have had no one with whom I could speak about this...thank goodness for Art Bell bc I didn't feel so strange once others came forward with their shadow people stories.

I had an encounter with shiva, and he too has red glowing eyes. He would also come into my dreams and show me scary stuff like I am being violated etc. I suspect if both of them are same that is the hatman and shiva. Though shiva looks completely different from hatman. He has a blue body that is quite muscular with a snake around his neck and he indulges in tantric sex meaning having sex as a ritual. He seems to come after women a lot than men for sexual purposes and merges with women during tantric rituals.
