The biggest horror here is that because of the legal minefield with naming shoddy techs, you can't (yet), which means they are free and clear to inflict this kind of pain and suffering on other poor bastards. I think that ANYONE who has works done by a 'tech' should have something in writing from said 'tech' complete with a list of works carried out. You wouldn't take your car for work and NOT get a receipt of bill of works for example. Start doing the same with techs people! I give my sons a bill of works if I work on their kit for them, my sons..... If a tech refuses, go elsewhere. Also, I love this format and think more are needed; similar to the old fright night programme on Friday nights :)

You might be able to understand at least some of the chaos if it was someone doing their own work for the first time. You can see the marks on that bevel!, there’s no way that the builder could have honestly tested that and believed it sounded healthy - to then wack a warranty label on it is just plain cheeky. Excessive and some overkill parts huge waste of money from the get go.

Wait a sec... I usually put a tad of lithium grease on my gears when I'm doing maintenance work. Is that bad?
@Eloy_955 ай бұрын
No, it is'nt bad. But the lithium grease is designed for metal vs metal (with exception of some brands that use chemical additives for avoid damaging plastics) If you put a generic lithium grease on the compression parts or your piston, you can damage this plastic components. For compression parts, you can use medium density silicon grease like abbey, molykote55, etc.. the is a lot of brands to choose. So if you want to use lithium, only in the gears and the motor pinion gear.

It is such a nice feeling airsoft replica but the tiny screws and ridiculous way it has to come apart is so irritating nevermind the parts inside are basically strengthened cardboard. My friend got the thing second hand and it looks like the guy stripped the hex screw on the mag release so I had to spend almost an hour drilling out the freaking mag release because why would you do it the same way everybody else does it when you can put a .9mm hex head screw in it with a gallon of thread lock. It was shimmed well though
