I think the thing that kept me from getting into this game was Snake having a different voice. Not having David Hayter just killed it for me, it didn't feel like Metal Gear. Big Boss isn't supposed to sound like friggin Jack Bauer!!! That aside I'm glad you ddid this playthrough because I've wanted to see how it played out. I've watched all your other playthroughs and they top notch!
