On my 3rd SB cage install. I angle grind the back of the passenger pillar plate just like you did. The drivers usually falls in place without grinding. Another great trick is to put a dowel punch through the top drilled hinge plate hole on the passenger side. Hit the punch with a hammer while moving it around in all directions. It pushes in the metal structure and allows the pillar plate more room to fall in place. Makes a huge difference trust me. Also pay attention to the long and short clamp bolts, I bottomed out a few of the longer bolts in the shorter holes. An easy way to tighten the windshield bar Allen bolts is to use an Allen socket and turn it with a gear wrench. I also remove most of the grease they pack in the threads otherwise they will hydraulic compress on you with the bolt about a 3rd of the way in. On a JKU the rear overhead bars use the stock holes in the factory cross bar, the drivers overhead bar will get drilled out where it meets the rear overhead bar. I consider this one of the harder parts so take your time laying out the hole positions. Hope this helps others.

I’m about to purchase this same cage for my 2010. Although your video isn’t necessarily a step by step install video, I’ll definitely be referencing it as I do my install. Was only able to get 1 bolt per side in mine. Think its strong enough, especially after the whole thing was put together. Started following you because we have the same color and year Jeep. I chose green to match the rest of the roll bar. Black looks great too. Love mine and get a lot of compliments. Worth the money. Purpose not bling!

Pretty sure those side mounts that bolted to the hinge spot are reinforcements for that very thin sheat metal

I put one on my 2017 and it fit perfect but i did have to trim the top. both front tops wouldn't sit all the way down without shaving them around the front cross section of the cage.
