Replace the MAF sensor. Replaced mine on a S4 V8 and regained some noticeable power. I had no lights on but they seem to get tired with age, pretty cheap gains if it works.

I originally subscribed because you bought the Focus and didn’t do the usual firstly slagging it of because of the recall and decating it. Nice to see some B7 content, an all time classic. I had an 07 one for 8 years and loved every minute of it. Never had it dynoed and it was completely stock but always felt plenty fast enough. Now in a 2013 E92 M3 and as much as I loved the RS4 would I go back? Probably not

I run a full miltek. Headers no cats straight pipe no res. 1 miltex back box. Yes filter and map and in sport mode its sounds like a bloody turbine jet engine monster

If was gonna spend that crazy money on the exhuast i would go with fitting a remus more aggressive sporty sound but it's some dosh from your wallet as the Miltek

You'd have no trouble selling a well sorted RS4 at the end of this project for decent money and recoup a lot of your money as your probably aware with the proof being your KZbin content , its a keeper Cheers 👍

Has it had a timing chain on at some point? Could they of messed the timing up when refitting?

Just so you can make at least one conversion at the moment use 1.355 to go from ft ibs to nm so 325 ft ibs = 440 nm and red fluid is coolant red colour is like a rust and overheat prevention system that is added in to well normal water really and the power going down is not just it pulling timing as the technician said sometimes naturally aspirated engines like this one will go down on power but it can also be due to heat build up plus not saying this was it as you had it changed the oil in the engine can play a big part in how much it makes or loses

Focus rs is ccommon and safe. Rs4 is a beast , im here for the rs4 but staying regardless for the banter. Labour of love , cost shouldnt matter , the rs4 might make the channel explode and eventualy pay for itself

405 is decent but that's without cats. For MOT go with a Milltek cat back zorst and Milltek 200 cell sport cat downpipes, stage 2 tune and air filter, should be looking at 430-440 at least and will hopefully deal with the timing issue unless it is worn chain and guides.
