Have you driven an M? They are worlds apart especially an FBO M4 vs a 340i. You can't even fit wide tires on a regular BMW body so you'll never get good enough handling to even compete with an M.

I'm a tuner from the top down. Here's a pro tip: "IF" you know what you're doing you can take ANY vehicle and make it perform better than it was originally intended. It comes down to what you can and are willing to spend in order to get it there. I love turning, from planning to procurement and actually building my project. This is an excellent video giving people an idea of what's possible. Some people will say just buy an M4. If that's what you want to do then by all means. However, for those of you who love to make things do more than what they were originally meant to do, go have fun with doing that and pay no mind to what others say. That's my 2 cents! 😉

I must say that is the best way to set up or ‘track a car’ useing the string and ruler ect… when we used to race the mini coppers s that’s just how I was Taught. And still say to this day it’s the best way !

M4 is morenplanted than sport suspension f32 or even coils. You guys need rear subframe solid mounts or other stiff bushes, otherwise subframe will live it’s own life. I had the same issue with my e92 and m3 bushes changed a lot. No more floaty boaty feeling

@@medianikophotography Yes. The 6 port version makes a bit more power and makes less heat. Real Street Performance has some youtube videos showing the b58 innerworkings. probably the best out there.

Nope, S55 is less sensitive to fuel. Makes 100hp more on a stage2+ sits in a better chassi and if you go for an "auto" the DCT is nicer and can clutch kick. You need to spend a lot of time and money to make a regular BMW handle like a sports car.

This is not killing an M4 especially with 255's in the rear. 275 front and 305 rears are standard upgrade on M4's. People seem to forget that downpipes and a tune is the same cost and M-car owners are also doing it. I went from a 435i to an M4 and my friend has an M140i xdrive. The M4 absolutely humbles these cars in a humiliating way. Only way a B58 beats an S55 is with bigger turbo, and a stage2 high pressure fuel pump. Nah S58>S55>B58>N54>N55 is pretty much established.

Is this a 2017 car? Seems a good one with 60k miles averages around 23k plus 5k and it’s 28 all in. 30-33k will get you in a low mileage 2017 M4 CP. still if you really want to stick with the 440i seems like a nice upgrade 👍

I had a 440 done stage 1 and handling mods, I upgraded to an m4 and as much as the 440 was a weapon, the m4 was just a different level it’s crazy

I have a 440i that's stock, and it really struggles for traction when taking off in 1st and sometimes 2nd. I wanted to tune it, but then I'd have even less traction. Tyres are Goodyear Eagle F1 with plenty of tread. What's the solution?
